We just got back from a week at BWV (the first time at our home resort). Nice resort, long walks. We stayed in a dedicated 1 bedroom (there was no connecting door).

Just curious... How many dedicated 1 bedrooms do they have at BWV??

I thought it was interesting that we did not connect to a studio. Is this a common occurance at BWV?

Thanks!

I believe all the one bedrooms are dedicated. Its the 2 bedrooms that have a studio attached. There are no dedicated two bedroom units.

We were there last week, we got back last night. Talk about long walks, try room 5001. Thats a hike. But I'm not complaining I love the BWV.

The do break up the 2BR villas and reserve them also as 1BR and studios, so yes there are many 1BRs that are lock-off.

At BWV, I believe there are 130 dedicated 1BR villas, and 149 lock-offs.

So, there are no dedicated 2 bedrooms at BWV?

No, all 2 bedrooms are lockoffs.

I've stayed in 1 bedrooms 7 or 8 times, and all but one was dedicated. Most of the reservations were at 11 months, a cm told me that they book the dedicated 1 bedrooms first so that they can leave the lockoffs open for 2 bedrooms.

My numbers say:

149 2 BR lockoff's
130 Dedicated 1 BR
97 Dedicated studios

Those could change by a couple if Disney gives up the remaning sales area.

Brownie, we also had 5001 on our 2002 stay. That is one heck of a walk!

That was also the year we (really, I) decided to do WDW and Universal in eight days. Five days in DH said "I'm tired and I'm not having fun!"
