I thought I remember reading several months ago on this board that the decorations at the fort would have to be scaled back? Maybe I dreamed it? :confused3 Does anyone know if they have forced people to scale back or is it the same glorious and beautiful decorations they have had year after year? Thanks in advance for any clarifications.

From what I've heard , it didn't amount to much, :confused3.
Really don't matter, the decor will still be AWESOME !!!:santa::woohoo:

Thanks for the reply. Your right doesn't matter it will still be awesome. We are having Christmas day dinner at Trails End and we love to go look at the decorations afterwards and walk off all that food. :lmao:

We just pulled out of the Fort 2 hours ago. Awsome trip! There were plenty of great decorations. We saw lots of people that appeared to be set up outside of those new rules. Several people appeared to be set up in the common areas and there were plenty of lights strung in trees. We have never been to the Fort at Christmas before so I don't have anything to compare it to. It was great fun to ride around at night and enjoy all the holiday decorations. Hope y'all have a great trip!

WannaBe is correct, I was just there Thanksgiving weekend and it looked like business as usual for us Fort decorators. :) No restrictions were put in place that I saw, however they did give us information about the restrictions at check in if I am remembering correctly. That's probably just so they can cover there butts if they do have to tell someone to remove or turn something off though. :)

Here at the fort now, 12/23/2011 and the decorations are wonderful! It looks like some folks must have had trucks to bring in all of their decorations. They are beautiful. It is truly amazing! When I learn how to post the pic's I will.Having a great time .Had the grandkids down the first week of Dec (one granddaughter was in the National Cheerleading Competition.Their team didn't win but had a great time anyway. Last week had two teenager grandkids down! We're not sure if they wore :lmao: us out or we wore them out!:confused3 Went to the pool and hot tub today( just hubby and myself )really relaxing as the temp has been in the 80's!

Yay. That sounds great. Us and our friends are really looking for dinner at the Fort and to look at all the Christmas decorations afterwards. It has been a tradition for us for several years now and the fact that they haven't made anyone scale back is great news! Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year!
