I'm getting married at Sea Breeze Point and was wondering if you can have drapes or something similar to decorate the area, i've looked on the dftw site but nothing was there. :laundy: :flower1:

I used an outside florist (Emily @ Charming Events) and she draped white tulle around the outside of the gazebo. I also used rose petals and simple flower arrangements. Here are some pics:

Hope this helps :)

I didn't do any extra decorating and saved the money. I don't think it is needed. Sea Breeze Point is beautiuful all on it's own with the perfect background! It's the best and perfect location! :goodvibes

Does anyone know if the Wedding pavillion is decorated for all weddings or if I need to arange for someone to go in and do this?

I would have to agree! We didn't decorate at all either...and thought it was just beautiful!

We weren't worried about privacy...on my wedding day I wanted the whole world to know I was getting married. :teeth: Of course, we had no guests, so the whole thing was pretty intimate anyway.

While folks can see from the walk way, they really wouldn't be able to hear anything unless they just came up and sat down during your ceremony.

The boats go past, and they can be a bit noisy, but no big deal.

ETA. Not trying to be rude or to question anyones desires for their dream wedding...but you are getting married at Disney World, why would you want to cover it up with drapes/fabric so that you can't see any of it? To me, part of the experience is being truly surrounded by Disney. JMO

We only have our two children with us and thought it might seem a bit smaller with some decorations and have a bit of privacy at the same time.
It looks so big in the pictures. :boat:

Well said! :) I loved the boats going by...I thought it was a nice touch! Our ceremony was very private and I felt like we were the only ones there...even though we were at Disney. It was actually quiet and the boardwalk was pretty empty on our wedding day, but the gazebo is very set-off anyway. It's very private, especially once you're under there with everyone, etc. You don't notice any thing or anyone else around you...it's lovely! :goodvibes

It sounds great, think we have made the right choice..... Thanks :wave2:

After working with the budget for a while I think all the decorating I'm going to do is rose petals down the isle. At first I wanted flowers everywhere, but the location really is beautiful all on it's own and for the whole 1/2 an hour we'll be in there the money can be put to better use. :)

I do think I'll have to upgrade those chair, though... The plastic ones just do not suit my taste!

Yes, it does look kinda big in the pictures, but it's really very charming and "secluded".

Maybe a map will help you some, look here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/boardwalk.htm

You can see that it's sort of down and to the left of the map (location "S") There are two "wings" that are great promenade areas. The one at the "top/north" was the one I approached from.

The center is not as open as you might think, there are trees and shrubs that kind of make it more private. Here's a pic from our wedding that shows it from the front:

I think you're going to love it! :)

The 2 flower arrangements at the "alter", the flowers along the aisle and the other accents I used in my decorating with floral were all trasferred to reception location. This cut my floral expenses quite a bit. :flower:

Oh I know the feeling!!!

DH and I had never been to Disney before our wedding...and it just seemed like there weren't enough pictures to really see the sites. And pictures don't really "feel" the same...

It's hard to choose a location sight unseen, but really, you wouldn't regret ANY of the places Disney has available. Of course, I'm a little biased since I was married at SBP ;)

I completely agree! I am having my ceremony at SBP next summer. I cannot justify spending so much on floral, etc. if we'll only be there 30 min. I think rose petals down the aisle, and maybe a couple small floral arrangements will be plenty.

Here you go! :goodvibes I thought I'd post some pics of SBP that I took! :) Some are from our wedding and others my DH took when we went back to visit SBP during our Disneymoon!
