I'm getting married at Sea Breeze Point and was wondering if you can have drapes or something similar to decorate the area, i've looked on the dftw site but nothing was there.

We weren't worried about privacy...on my wedding day I wanted the whole world to know I was getting married.Of course, we had no guests, so the whole thing was pretty intimate anyway.
While folks can see from the walk way, they really wouldn't be able to hear anything unless they just came up and sat down during your ceremony.
The boats go past, and they can be a bit noisy, but no big deal.

ETA. Not trying to be rude or to question anyones desires for their dream wedding...but you are getting married at Disney World, why would you want to cover it up with drapes/fabric so that you can't see any of it? To me, part of the experience is being truly surrounded by Disney. JMO
Fairy_Tale_Bride said:Well said!I loved the boats going by...I thought it was a nice touch! Our ceremony was very private and I felt like we were the only ones there...even though we were at Disney. It was actually quiet and the boardwalk was pretty empty on our wedding day, but the gazebo is very set-off anyway. It's very private, especially once you're under there with everyone, etc. You don't notice any thing or anyone else around you...it's lovely!

It looks so big in the pictures.![]()
hiwaygal said:Yes, it does look kinda big in the pictures, but it's really very charming and "secluded".
Maybe a map will help you some, look here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/resortmaps/boardwalk.htm
You can see that it's sort of down and to the left of the map (location "S") There are two "wings" that are great promenade areas. The one at the "top/north" was the one I approached from.
The center is not as open as you might think, there are trees and shrubs that kind of make it more private. Here's a pic from our wedding that shows it from the front:

I think you're going to love it!![]()

At first I wanted flowers everywhere, but the location really is beautiful all on it's own and for the whole 1/2 an hour we'll be in there the money can be put to better use.
