A while back, there was a thread on Disney charging for decorating windows. Was this a fact and is Disney indeed charging for this? I like to deck our room and windows for Christmas. I did last year and it gave us more Christmas feel.

Anybody know for sure?

Many Thanks

I read recently that it was a rumor. I don't recall which resort it was, but Mousekeeping was getting a kick out of looking at all the decorated windows. I know when we were at CSR earlier this month that there were several windows that we saw that were decorated.

I think the person who reported the charge had written all over the windows and was given a notice to remove or be charged $25 a day ...I don't think they are charging in general:thumbsup2

I suspect that if your decorations require extra cleanup time, you might be charged an extra fee. If you use crayons, paint, etc which has to be washed off, you will be charged. If you use something that does not leave any traces behind, you won't be charged.

Why don't you try those sticky gel decorations.. I hear that they're pretty easy to put up and take down, no mess no fuss....

The window clings leave no mess. I used suction cups to hold up the lights. Leaves no mess!
