Decorating your resort room?

Hi,
We always decorate our window. We have lights and either Halloween decor or summer decor depending on what time we go. We've always gotten great feedback. I have a cricut machine and make people etc. POR does have windows with great views. I am currently planning our window for late August this year..

What do you use for summer decorations? We going in August and I'm not sure what to use.

Do people decorate the windows at the moderate resorts? I've decorated our windows at Pop in the past but this trip we are staying at POFQ and I would love to it there as well.

I stayed at PO Riverside last September and I decorated my window.
But as matter of fact I did not see another window there decorated but I was there in September; got a room on the first floor and near the parking lot so I did not circulated too much around the resort looking for them ^_^'

But if you do everything without damaging WDW property I don't see why the window/doors decorating should be banned...
Everything I put on the window I took off before our check-out. Not a single smear of gelly clings or crystal tape was left for the mousekeeping!

We are going up for Star Wars week-end May 20th thru the 23rd. My son is a HUGE Star Wars fan and since its the kick off of Star Wars Weekends we are going with a STAR WARS theme!!!!!!!

Just found this thread and am loving reading. I need to start at Page 1 though.

I was at our local Dollar Tree last week and found Cars clings. We are going in August and it's mine our our youngest son's birthdays while we are there. We've never decorated our windows before, but I plan to this time after seeing all the great rooms pictured in this thread.

We are using some of the designs from the DISIGNERS on here and some from Party City . We use some of the birthday stuff that doesnt actually say " Happy Birthday"!!!! Good LUCK!!!

Love the Idea of Decorating Windows....Gets the kiddies involved also

On our last trip we stayed at POR Alligator Bayou section; which we love and is so beautiful, we had a corner room so we had two windows.
We did decorate and it was really great.

My comment, we were the only window I saw decorated anywhere else around our resort. Some folks would look at us like we were aliens from another planet or we were just plain ole' loopy.

I guess the percentage of decorated windows is pretty small.

Or we were there on an "off window decorating" week.

We enjoy looking at this thread to see photos of others windows though!

Originally I was thinking of Halloween (since we'll be there in Oct.), but I think I'd rather decorate for my daughter's Bday. I wonder if I can find a huge birthday card and put it on the door for people to sign.
