Decorating your resort room?

OMG!!! I LOVE you guys!! I am heading to Michael's, Office Depot....until I find them!

There is one problem though...this is a special (waiting and wishing for 4 years!) mother/daughter trip. I've been saving and scrimping to make it special on a budget. You know...doing things along the way. I have bought souvies that I can dish out while dd sleeps from "Tink", I've made T-shirts for us (oh yea - matching of course) so we don't cave to temptation in shops for at least THOSE items, and now I'm up to my elbows in creating designs tonight so I can make window clings. Something tells me I have TOTALLY defeated the purpose of being so crafty at home pre-trip.

Oh well....we will look good, our windows will look great, and by Tink shall bring smiles each night.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for the tips! I'll post tomorrow if I have any serious issues....other than going bankrupt that is.

TWO MORE DAYS TO GO!!!!! Hard to believe I am the adult as excited as I am.

Where does everyone get the pictures for making their own window clings. Also, for the pictures that some have put up in their windows. We're going in January I can't wait to decorate our windows. We have decorated our door in that past on the Disney cruise ship.

Loved the Princess window !! I have Princess placemts from Dollar Tree and Princess Mickeyhead Clings so far. Going to look for some pink or other pastel color lights this Christmas for the window if not clear will do!! Has anyone noticed the lack of halloween lights, they usually have purple and black as well as orange at WalMart but not this year!!

We're back after 8 days at Coronado Springs. We almost didn't get to go because of some family problems but it all worked and we had a great time
here are some pics of our window.

our mousekeeper added the chair with the towel draped over it and the stuffed animal to our window also the towel animal.

I have to say decorating our windows at POR was actually quite difficult, especially when in the mansions. Anyway, we did it, and here was the end result:

We did eventually add a few more random coloured Mickey heads, and while at DTD we bought some black and orange halloween tinsel that was added to our room. Mum used her tinsel to decorate her wheelchair for MNSSHP!!!!

Here is my nephew's door when we celebrated his b-day in July. The poster in the middle asked people to leave a message for the b-day boy and sign their name and where they live. We did while he was asleep and was supper excited when he walked out and saw it.
