Hi everyone! I've been lurking on here for a few days. I haven't posted since this thread was first started. I think I'm on page 1! LOL Anyway, I went to dollar tree tonight and got some window clings. I got pooh, mickey, princesses and princesses in white gowns. Also, we are staying at Allstar Sports from June 8 to 13 and I bought these really cool party decorations to hand in the window that spiral and at the end there is a circle that says allstar with different sports balls like baseball, football, soccer, etc. That's probably a really bad description so I'll post a pic tomorrow. It was practically meant to be in my window. I about screamed in the dollar tree when I saw it. DH calmed me down though. He told me he just wants to go to Disney but I'm spending our money on decorations. LOL He doesn't get it.

I can't wait to see if any disers sign my board.

My next mission is a trip to Home Depot. Maybe tomorrow...

I know! I just really couldn't believe it. It's like the company knows that we use this stuff to decorate our windows at Disney. LOL It is absolutely perfect. I can't wait to show ya'll pics. I promise I will tomorrow! Well, I guess I have to get some sleep now. I was up until 5 am this morning writing my resume and then had to wake up at 9:30 with DS1. I'm a very sleepy person but still on the Dis! Am I addicted or what?

Ok, I've been through all 75 pages of room decorating ideas and suggestions!! I have been all over this board looking for T shirt designs and now window decor for our anniversary trip.

I have a couple questions. 1. Regarding purchased clings vs homemade ones--which hold up better so that they could be both repositioned in one design and even reused for another trip?

2. Am I correct in understanding that clings bought commercially would go on the inside of your window facing out and homemade ones would go on the outside of the window? I thought I read a post that said that is the way they are done.

3. I have been searching clipart for days. I want exclusively disney couples on our window, and a lot of the clipart I am finding is not of good quality unless it is about 2" in size. Can anyone direct me to a good source for larger clipart? The artwork used in the DISigns thread is GORGEOUS but is almost never just a couple by itself without wording, etc. I have recently gotten Print Shop Elements but haven't gotten to play yet.

4. Can anyone tell me how to edit the clipart out of made designs or would that have to be done by the designer?

Commercial clings are made to go inside, and the ones you buy the cling "paper" from Staples/Officemax, etc do usually "cling" from the opposite side.

BUT....if you don't have words on them, then it doesn't matter, because they're see through, so turn it around and put it on the inside of the window. Only difference is it's backwards. If there ARE words, then before you print go into your Print Shop or whatever software you use and tell it to print it backwards.

Large clipart is hard to find. search for disney wallpaper. I have some couples saved on my computer I'll see if any of them are large enough.
