Decorating your resort room?

We no longer have a Home Depot where I live, any ideas how else I can get mickey heads. Also, any suggestions for other stores that may have disney related items I can use for decorating when we are there this christmas?

I would be happy to send you some if you want to PM me your address. Also tell me what you are looking for.....colors etc.

My kids have fun decorating the window.
Our lights were falling down in the picture, sorry. They are not Disney related, but Clemson since we are big Clemson Tiger fans. And, I couldn't find any Mickey lights!

I am the biggest DIS nerd ever, I just finished going through every page of this thread...all 161 of them

My family and I will be at WDW over Christmas staying at CSR so naturally I want to do some decorating. My big question right now is: white lights or multicolored lights?? Also is there someone who could make me a DISboards sign of some sort with my username on it? I like the idea of having people sign the MHs, but I was thinking of maybe putting scrapbook or cardstock paper on the door as I am not able to get MHs from HD since ours closed a few years ago and the closest one is about 3.5 hours away!

Ordering my glow in the dark snowflakes this week from LTD! I think I will order the light-up snowman flakes too! I glad to see so many decorate at POP! I have seen very few decorated windows during our past 3 stays at ASMO's!

We just returned and I would say it is 6 inches max. Not sure that you could put a tree on it, but you could move the table or a chair in front of it and make it work!!!

my hubby got some solar led lights and we are planning to decorate our balcony!! I hope that is ok. I am planning to surprise our girls with the room inside docorated with little toys, christmas tshirts and hats for the MVMCP and maybe a small christmas tree

I LOVE this idea! I had never thought of decorating a window, and am now thinking of what to do to make mine special when I go in 38 days

Gives me something else to plan and occupy a few of the days! I will be basically missing the Christmas pre-season, so I'll make my own little christmas magic while I'm there... although the hot weather to me makes it all a little out of place I'll make sure to put up a Canadian flag as well as pick up a few LGMH's. Hope to see some other decorated windows and fellow diser's!

We usually go in Dec..less than 3o days til our next trip and for the past several years, we bring a little tree and decorate it and put in our window. This year we are also brings a Mickey Light Up Wreath. Cant wait!!!

Hey everyone! Ordered my glow in the dark snowflakes and light-up snowman snowflakes this week!
Last night I found Mickey and Minnie Gelz Window Clings in the Christmas decorations at Big Lots!!!!! $2.00 a piece-two designs for each character! I know several of you had posted that you were looking for clings!
I'm going to our local Dollar Tree this week and see what they have. I'll post if I find anything else!
Now all I need to do is make our personalized vinyl clings(ordered 10 sheets of vinyl cling print paper from EBAY),our personalized magnetic signs for our door and get enough MH from Home Depot to decorate our window! Decorating is so much fun!!!!

If anyone is looking for Disney window clings...Dollar Tree had a ton of different designs...Cars, Pooh, Mickey, Princess, and Tinkerbell.

we always put one one of our rubbermaid boxes against the window cause we have so many plush we put in the window plus our tree. i will post a picture!
