Decorating Painters' Caps for b'day craft?

We are thinking of having DS' 8th birthday party at Monster Mini Golf and so I thought a great craft would be for the kids to decorate the white painters' hats with glow-in-the-dark paint or markers before the golfing part of the party. Unfortunately everything I saw at AC Moore says it needs to dry for 4 hours! Does anyone know if there is an option for this which is quick-drying? The painters' caps are 99 cents each so I can spend a bit more on the materials but I'm not sure what options are out there. Thanks! I can bring an iron or blow dryer to the party room if that does the job. I would just like the kids to be able to wear their creations during the golfing, and I would like to be sure they won't smudge.

Found these paints that say they have a quick drying time of 30-60 minutes. You could have them paint their hats, then while they're drying, do the cake (or food if you'll have that), then have them play golf afterward.. by then hopefully they would be mostly dry.

Thanks! I just got a second idea, if I can't work out the paint (which I will look into more) then maybe they could paint their arms and faces with glow-in-the-dark face paint and decorate frames. Then I can send the pictures of each of them with the thank you notes! Hmm...

You could try the Crayola fabric markers. My DD just used them in Girl Scouts to decorate a fabric tote bag. They worked pretty well.

Thanks, the Crayola markers look PERFECT! They can be heat-set in 4 minutes so I'll just bring the iron with me. Great! And they come in all sorts of colors, are reasonably priced, and can be bought at AC Moore and Michaels with the coupons. Rock on!
