Decorating Help - How's this?

Do you think this light fixture would be good with this wallpaper? This is for our extra bathroom and it will have lots Pooh stuff there. Snow globe, ornaments etc on shelves, the wallpaper border will be along the floor.

The light is above a large mirror, nothing else around it.

I like them both, but I'm not sure about them together. But someone that is better at this may have a different opinion.

do they have it in another finish? i think if they have it in chrome, that would work better, but i'm no interior decorator...

I don't really think they go together. Maybe a plainer light fixture, it seems too ritzy for Pooh wallpaper.

But not with the Pooh paper.

They do have a beige finish but it wouldn't match.

I've been looking for something kind of garden type and this is the closest I've found that isnt' too frilly. I may just go with something plainer and no garden. The primary goal is to get rid of the builder's standard 5 bulb gold strip

I like the vine thingy, but maybe it would look better in white? Maybe you could paint it?

I've only found it online although there are a couple of local stores that may carry it. I'd have to look at it before I planned to paint it or something.

I do like the vines, white would be pretty or even green. I have paint the same color as the light green stripe in the paper. I'm going to paint the floor with it.

I love the fixture but I'm not sure either about putting it with that paper. You could always spray paint it white!

The most important thing is you, do you like it? That's all that matters.

I agree, I think it would look great in white, or maybe a green verdigris finish. And I love the wallpapers!

Janette, I've been meaning to ask you....how's the puppy?

Thanks. I do like the fixture and the wallpaper. But not sure about putting them together so thought I'd call in the experts .

Bet, the puppy is doing fine. He's a delightful little furball
