Decorating camp chair

I just bought a red camp chair from Walmart for $9. I thought it would look really cute decorated with Mickey Mouse.

Do you think I could use iron-on patches to decorate it? I have no idea if they would stick to the fabric.

Any other ideas on how to decorate it with Mickey Mouse?

I would do mickey heads stammed on with fabric paint. I think black mickey heads would look great on the red.
