Decorating a Suitcase?

Has anyone tried using a transfer on a fabric suitcase? I have an inexpensive suitcase for the gkids that needs some "magic". Will using a transfer melt the fabric? Stickers won't stick. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks.

I have tried doing transfers on canvas bags and it has worked. I have not tried suitcases as it is difficult to apply enough heat and pressure to the area, I would suggest using luggage tags and ribbon to "Magic" the suitcases.
I have a few tags in my photobucket that may help.

My DD's have those small suitcases with the pull handle and I was able to use the iron ons last year. Their suitcases was solid pink(got them at walmart for around 10.00 and I used 1 of the name fills designs. It worked fine..If I new how to add a picture on here I would.

Have you tried the embroidered stickers from places like Hobby Lobby? Those things have some really strong glue on them. I put one on my red leather organizer and it works well. They come with Princesses, Mickey & gang & Mickeyheads. I believe the brand is EK Success and were around $5 a pack.
