Decorated resort window Pics

Hello all,

I will be leaving for the CBR in less than 30 days!!! I've bought some decals to decorate the windows in my room.

If you have some pics of windows decorated by fellow DISers, i'd love to see them for inspiration. I do have two packs of Disney decals which include the usual suspects (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, etc.) along with the lime green disney paint samples from Home Depot. All I need are some ideas to make my room the most festive in the resort.

I have a disney ears postcard and bought lime green poster board. I traced the postcard and cut them out and both the kids have decorated a few each.

Anyone adding stuffed animals to the window ledge?

Last dec we stayed at POP (LOVED IT) and used lights, clings and our stuffed animals. Mousekeeping usually arranged them for us!!!

Lights? Hmmmm......I never thought of that! That sounds great. Maybe I can dig out some old x'mas lights to add to my window. That sounds fabulous!

I will definately scout the windows at CBR during my visit and post any DISer window pics I can find. Everyone needs their 15 minutes of fame in the "limelight"!

Thanky you so much for sharing your window & door.. This gives me many ideas and I'd like to use some of your too! Is that a HD mickey head garland or are they taped?? Please share howyou did it! It looks great and we will definately know our room... I can't tell you how often we have wlked by our door on vacation.. heck, they all look alike!! ;o)

In October, 2006, we saw a Dis decorated window/door. On the door, they had a message sheet with an attached pen--you could say hello and sign your name.

Our window at POP in Dec 2005. Not much but it was cute at night when all of the others were bare.

You could also purchase a package of the magnetic vent covers at Home Depot and decorate with all things Disney and of course some lime green mickey heads from the paint department. The magnetic cover attaches nicely to the resort door.

On a Christmas visit, I wired two smaller wreaths to the top of a larger wreath. It made the Mickey head. At the bottom, I put a large red bow. Put the bow at the top if you want Minnie. I hung it on the outside of the door with a wreath hanger. All items were from the dollar store, so it costs a grand $5! It was cute. Melissa
