Deckert's is the Best!

Finally decided that I would bite the bullet and rent an ECV for my upcoming DLR vacation . . . last time I went for a day trip I spent the whole next day in pain. Don't want that this time--especially since I will be doing three days in a row.

So called Deckert's because of the recommendations on this board as well as the fact that I used their services a few years ago when I had my knees replaced and needed an easy chair with a lift for a few weeks. (They were wonderful then too.) Spoke with Dale Deckert who couldn't have been nicer, and because I'm a repeat customer I got a 5% discount and no deposit was charged! So for three whole days the cost is $114.

Although the cost is slightly higher than renting at DLR by a few dollars, I will have use of the ECV between the parks and the hotel. I may or may not use it the whole time (may park it and walk around a certain land sometimes) but it will be good to know it is there.

We used Deckert's to rent an ECV for my dad last year at DLR. You're right. They're great! They delivered it right to the lobby of our hotel. My dad was able to ride it across the street and down the long walkway to the front gates. If we had waited to rent at the parks, that walk would have been way too much for him. He was also able to ride it to Downtown Disney and back to the parks. Even though it seems like a compact area, it ends up being a lot of walking! Hope you have a great trip!
