Deck at OKW ever used????

Every time we go to OKW we always meander over to that wooden deck area past the playground. It never seems to be used for anything and it seems kind of like a wasted area. Has anybody seen it used? What for? Seems like that would be a good place for the game, DJ, party thing everybody is complaining about around the pool. I was just wondering if it is ever used???
