I've seen some messages reguarding room noise.

We'll be on deck 8 near the aft elevator and under Mickey's pool.

Just wondering about the noise level from above on Deck 9. I've read some posts about ping pong table noise, etc.

I would think the Micky pool would be a calm area at night considering that it's used by the younger children but I'm not sure how late it's open.

Anyone stayed in this area?

We stayed in 8046 2 years ago, and 8518 this year on the Wonder. Both more forward than the Mickey Pool. However, both rooms were fine. There was some occassional deck noise early morning hours as they reset the deck chairs, If anything 8518 was quieter. The nice thing about being on Deck 8 is that your only one floor down from the action. This is mostly due to the slow elevators. At least you can walk from Deck 8. I would guess anything below 7 gets to be a pain. Maybe someone else can comment?

We were in 8576 last year which is a couple rooms away from the elevator and I loved it. We did hear noise in the morning as they set up the tables on the deck and the window washer for Topsiders road past every morning but none of it was too annoying. I was surprised we only heard the noise when the crew was setting up and not from passengers.

We are staying on deck 8 as well and are thinking of changing to Deck 7...it just makes sense that it would be less noise since Deck 9 is not right on top of you...plus it is $400.00 cheaper which is nice.
