Deck 5 forward on the Magic - noise?

Anyone stayed on deck 5 forward on the Magic in the last 5 years or so? Wondering about noise from the theater below. All of the reviews seem to be terrible and really old.

We were just assigned one of these cabins for a cruise later this month and wondering if we should try to upgrade at the port. It will be the second half of a B2B, so maybe our chances of upgrading would be better.

We have sailed on deck 5 forward on the Fantasy over the theater many times and had no noise issues.

My favorite place on the OGs for a stateroom. When I was on the PC cruise, I did hear the cast practicing a few times during the day. At night, we are out at dinner or seeing the show so we didn’t hear anything in the evening. It is a very quiet place normally. Not much traffic in the halls. We normally stay in 5020/5520 or 5014/5012. Not sure where your room is located. I just checked - we have spent 73 days total so far on deck 5 forward on the Magic and Wonder. We have the same area booked for the Vancouver Hawaii 10 day cruise in September. Like I said, it's my favorite location!

Thanks for the reply! You have made me feel much better about our assigned stateroom. We have 5500 for the 10 night in July.
