I am narrowing down my choice of rooms. I am getting so close to booking!! Just curious - a few people have stated that they liked the aft rooms on Deck 2 near the elevators. Does there seem to be a lot of traffic noise here in the mornings, late nights? I have two little ones, who hopefully won't notice, but I don't want to take a chance. Thanks!

We like the aft rooms on deck 2. We did not hear much traffic outside. East access to deck 9 and actually if you walk down to the forward part of ship you can get to the Walt Disnet theathers easily.

There will be noise from below due to the engine. It is a humming sound when the ship is docking or positioning itself. How loud depends on your tolerance level for noise?

We had a room on deck 2 by the mid elevators and had no problem with noise or anything. It was pretty convienient for us.

No, good location for us! Very close to restaurants and easy walk to the atrium. Straight up the elevators to the Mickey Pool and Topsiders! Not much noise at all.

Enjoy!

I'm very passionate about this subject...

We always go for the deck 2 , cat 9 aft staterooms near the elevators - they are convenient to the venues we use most...also, aft elevators are least used on ship ...these staterooms are also quiet, with not much discernable noise from people in hallways....we've never heard any engine noise as well...BTW, we prefer starboard for the view of Castaway Cay,when the ship backs into the dock (most of the time)

Here are our favorite staterooms in order of preference: 2614, 2612, 2620, 2608, 2610 , 2114, 2112, 2108, 2110....
