Hi,:cutie:
My family and I booked b2b cruises on the Magic. Our staterooms are 2083 & 2085. They are connecting rooms but under the tail-end of the dining room Lumieres. We are also 8 cabins away from the tween club. Does anyone have any feedback concerning noise levels. Thx princess:

Curious as well....I'm booked in 2081 next summer. My TA said it got great reviews (so I assume your rooms would as well since they are right next door) but hearing some more firsthand accounts is always a good thing! :)

My first cruise was in 2564 on the Wonder, which is just around the corner from Edge. We only heard some music on the very last afternoon when we were packing after Castaway Cay. We loved the location and the room. So easy to get to everywhere from there.

:lovestrucI'm really concerned about the before breakfast and after dinner noise. From what I understand, it should be pretty minimal but, she (cast member) didn't have first hand knowledge, so she's just guessing.

We were in cabin 2566 last February on the Magic, directly across from what appeared to be a side/emergency exit from the tween club. We only heard noise from the club once during the whole trip, in the middle of the day one day. I was a little nervous about having noisy pre-teens outside our room, but it seemed everyone stayed inside the club. And we were only a few cabins away from the elevator area but didn't notice any noise at all from the restaurants/people traveling to and from them. We loved the location!

Thanks 'Flossbolna' , that was a very helpful tip. I didn't know I could look at room reviews. Awesome!

We were in 2088 on the Wonder. We decided we were under the hall just outside the dining room. We didn't hear anything from any direction. This was on the EBPC so there were fewer guests but we loved the location!

I was under restaurants on Magic (pre-furb) on deck two and did not hear any noise (can't recall room number sorry). love deck two

Thank you all for the feedback. I was going to switch rooms on s higher deck, but I didnt. I booked these cruises in Jan. and got a really great deal, so switching cabins/ catagories would cost a about $1500 more. I think I'll be blessed where I am and stay put.

We have travelled in room 2560 on the Magic four times -- it's right around the corner from the Edge. We never had a noise issue, and only on this last cruise was there an issue with kids running in the hall (and it wasn't even clear that they had anything to do with the Edge).

The location can't be beat -- just one floor below the atrium, which means you have easy access to the main dining rooms as well as the entertainment venues.

Have a great time!

Hi! We were in 2088 on the Magic a couple months ago. It was Spring Break with 900 kids on board, and we had ZERO noise or tween club issues! Every time we passed the tween club, the kids were well behaved, and usually with a counselor headed out on some adventure. Dining room noise in the morning or after dinner was nonexistent.

The only problem we had with this cabin was the air conditioning was not cool enough. We called about it right away & they tried to boost the fan up. When that didn't help, someone came and changed the filter in the ceiling - the room was wonderfully cold the rest of the week!

We liked this location so much I booked the same cabin for next May's Magic 14 night EBTA!

WOW! Ok.... we're set then, thank you.
Im curious, was your Spring-break cruise chaotic with 900 kids on board or was it a blast? We're thinking of taking the kids next year for Spring break.

To be honest, I would never have believed there were that many kids on board. Our server at dinner quoted us that number.
We were without children, and stayed mostly in the adult areas. Had late dinner seating, and the kids there were mostly well behaved and having fun. I think there was an option for kids to be served quickly and be taken to kids clubs. All the servers catered to the kids more than to the adults!

I got a FLR rate at the last minute that was too good to pass up, otherwise wouldn't have picked Spring Break. Although, since I love to watch kids experience Disney, and used to run my own daycare, I probably have a higher tolerance for kids in general!

The kid filled areas I was around ie family pool, water slide, pirate deck party were very crowded, but nothing I, as a grandma would have had a problem with - maybe with a weeks cruise people were more relaxed. I only saw a few parent/child meltdowns. When I cruised with my granddaughter, she never wanted to leave the kids club. Disney seems to know what kids like. I don't think you need to let Spring Break scare you off! And don't let the little annoyances get to you. I went expecting wonderful things, and magic happened all around me!

Oh my goodness what av wonderful attitude you have. I'm blessed by it and will certainly consider taking our children during spring break. Thank you.

Actually, if you change your category, you will not be charged the current rate for the new category, but the rate that was in effect when you originally booked that cruise. So, it might be less than 1500$.

But I think you will be happy on deck 2! There are plenty of people who love it!

I think you're right. I'll stay where I am and be blessed. Thank you
