i am actually booked for August but now deciding to perhaps change for October for 2 weeks I cant decide weather to go 2 days before the weekend as its nearly £700 cheaper but having kids it's making it hard to choose do many of you go away in October?

We love Ocotober in Orlando!

We have been May Sept and 3 times in October. The weather is perfect for us. Hot but not blistering hot. Still very humid though! Short bursts of refreshing rain.

We had booked next year for 3 weeks in July/Aug but I was worried about the heat and crowds we have changed dates to 2 weeks in October. Scottish Schools off for 10 days so means DD misses last few days of term. I know, I know! Bad parent! But she is never off and her grades are good.

October also means Halloween. Parks are decorated and then there's the halloween party! All great fun.

Parks are still busy but manageable!

Anytime is always a great time to visit Walt Disney World!

We love October but don't get the chance to go this time of year very often as I only have a weeks holiday then. We usually go Easter, summer and Christmas but October is amazing! We love the food and wine at Epcot, Halloween at MK and also the weather is not as intense as the summer.

I would love to go in October rather than July but in our part of Scotland we only get 5 days off in October. I keep suggesting to our local authority that they take away the 3 days in May and the September weekend to give us 2 weeks in October. Maybe one day!

October in my opinion is a better time of year to go than August. October has the perfect weather conditions and the crowds have always been fine when we've been. Also if you stay onsite the hotels we have stayed in always offer great Halloween activities for the children.

We are going in Oct 2016 and really looking forward to Halloween and Epcot f and w! Hopefully be cooler for the kids and nice time of year to be away.
We have been twice in oct and twice in Aug and always found October quieter in the park( but from more recent posts that may of changed)
You will enjoy whenever you go.
