Decisions stink! Help decide which Universal hotel

I have ressies for Best Western Universal for Oct 23-26 ( at $45 a night). I see Holiday Inn Main Gate East has great rates now too (at $35/night) now I am seeing Clarion Hotel has rates for I think it just said $29 a night. ANY one out there stay at any of these and if so which one should we- me, hubby, twin girls age 9- stay at? The good thing about BW is the free continental breakfast. But I can't decide. Oh by the way- we are only going to Universal this time. Universal and IOA too. So-- any advise on these??? Thanks!!

Is the best western that your refering to on I-drive? I recall seeing a best western on I-drive that looked kind of shabby and run down. I have stayed at the clarion universal-last oct. Paid 49.00 per night. It was okay, would probably stay there again as it is very close to universal which is a couple minutes drive straight down the road, however the hotel is nothing special but it is clean, has a pool and buffet breakfast. The staff were nice and helpful, it is half a block off of I-drive and close to many restuarants and the belz outlet mall. Hope this helps some, at least you'll know that it isn't a dump!!
