From that perspective, whatever you decide will be perfect. These resorts all really offer the same thing, access to the greatest place ever created! We can nitpick things like we like/don't like about each of the resorts, but ultimately, most of us would be thrilled to spend time at any of them. Here's to a lifetime of incredible Disney memories with your kids, their significant others, and grandkids! Sorry, I tend to get ahead of myself lol!

I am so sorry to hear about your wife. that is so sad and must be hard on the kids. BC is a great resort and the reason for our initial purchase. Since your kids are older, I might consider RR - the gondola gives them freedom to go and come from Epcot or HS without for the bus. If you purchase RR direct you do get the blue card, the only thing with RR is the high point chart -so the points do not go very far. SSR and AKV are also our family favorites. AKV you need points there to book the value and std. view and concierge rooms. But ultimately whatever you decide will be perfect.
