I like the breakfast menu at Grand Floridian Cafe but we have a PPO at Garden Grill at 8:20. I have teenagers and can’t decide if GG will be to silly for them. Help?

Silly in what way? Because of the character greet? We went a few months ago. There was Pluto, Chip & Dale, and Mickey. They came around to our table. I could see maybe where a boy in his late teens may find it too silly for him. Ask them how they would feel about it. Other than the character greet (which shouldn't take very long), I think it would be enjoyable.

I went to GG for dinner in college with my HS sister...I can't remember if my whiny brat cousins ate with us or not...but it's one of my fondest memories.

The characters take their cue from you. If all you want is to wave, then they'll wave and move on. If you want to get up and get hugs, pictures, autographs, then they'll stop for awhile and accommodate you. If you're silly with them, they'll be silly with you.

See my big boys over there in my picture? We went to GG on that trip last month, and they LOVED the breakfast. They just ignored the characters while my niece and I had a great time getting hugs and pictures.

Side note: If you can't decide what you want to drink, no worries, they'll bring you all of them: samsmaller.jpg

We loved our GG breakfast! We booked it mostly for the PPO advantage but ended up loving the food, atmosphere and characters! So much that we’ve got one booked for our next trip in March.

Definitely do GG ove GF cafe..... Kids will always love that place...

I vote for the Grand Floridian Cafe. The food is really delicious, better quality, and much cheaper than the family-style breakfast offered at Garden Grill. I also like the ambiance of the GF cafe more, but it is nice to have the characters come to your table at GG.

I would only pay for character dining if I wanted the character interaction. I would do GFC if it' all about the food, GG has no choices, just a platter of food to share. It's nice but not everyone's cup of tea.

We had dinner there, but our teen son loved it.

Dale ate our son's dessert, or at least tried to. And Micky tried to pull him up to walk around the restaurant with him.

All in all, it was pretty cool with a teen.
