Decided on Coronado Springs, have another question...

So, we finally have decided on Coronado Springs. My question now is, should we book things ourselves, or go through an agent? Last time we used Small World Vacations, and everything went smooth, but would it be just as easy to do it ourselves?

My main concerns are:

1. My parents will be going with us, so somehow I need to request rooms next to each other.
2. If the price drops, or there is a deal (I have a Disney Visa), is it easier to get the new rate if I had booked myself, or if an agent does it? Or does it not matter?
3. If we have other special requests regarding our room, is it easier to get those fulfilled if an agent does the requesting? Or does it not matter?

Again, I appreciate everybody's help. If this is not the right place for this thread, moderators, please move it to where it should be. I didn't really see a place for trip planning.

I always book myself. I never have a problem getting the cheaper rate if a code comes out or with AP or Disney Visa. Just make your requests at time of booking. If they are available at check-in, you should get them. Just enjoy and have a great trip!

Is it better to book online, or to call them and do it? Or does it make no difference?

Call. I don't think that discount codes can be applied to online (rack rate) reservations.

Book it yourself, thats half of the fun Just do your research, on these boards & you will be just fine. Call CSR yourself & book the rooms, explaining exactly what you need & you can always call back & apply codes to see if you can get any discounts. Next book your airline tickets, I went with Delta Song, Boston to Orlando, $207 per ticket me, dh, dd 5 1/2 & ds 2 leaving 2/5 thru 2/12/05, non stop with the kids!!! Next figure out what type of tickets you want to the parks. I choose 4 day park hoopers, bought them 12/04. That will allow us to have 2 days to resort hop & just lounge by the pool or whatever. Make PS for meals. Sit back & read these boards & get extra tips & most of all HAVE FUN PLANNING

I always book myself and have never had a problem with changing rates. We always stay at CSR and have always received our room and building request. I always call and book our trips.
