Decent My Points email offer

I got a Kmart one last night- buy a Kmart Gift Card and get 500 points. I *rarely* do anything with my points besides the clicks, but I did this one- it worked with just a $5 GC purchase! Points already pending. I figure I can just go and buy something in the store, or it's also good at Sears or Lands End.

I missed that offer as well, although I have really only gotten into mypoints over the last few weeks.

I don't plan on shopping through them though because I love shopping through quickrewards.net, but I have been earning a nice number of points just clicking on the mypoints emails.

I use QR for a lot of my shopping too. Only problem is I can't use a lot of my Vitamin Shoppe or Brylane coupons through Dmitry's/QR's (or SR, for that matter) links or I don't get credit for my order (you can only use QR coupon codes). When I have my own coupon that's better than theirs, I use My Points for shopping.

Thats a really good point, I just had that issue with Buy.com where I did not get credit from QR because I used a coupon code.

Does Mypoints allow you to use any coupon code and still receive credit? And do they credit quickly with the shopping? Do they do credit holds like SR. I am not a supermember there so I have to wait three weeks for my shopping credits to clear. I totally understand why they do it, it's just a little frustrating, especially when you are close to being able to cash out and you have to wait!!

When I click through My Points for the Vitamin Shoppe and use my own coupon, the shopping credit shows as pending the next day. Whenever you earn shopping credits through MyPoints, they hold them as pending for 30 days, and you can't redeem them bofre that time has passed.

That is really good to know. I don't shop or do offers there that I can do on SR, but sometimes they have things that SR doesn't have, and it's really good to hear that about coupons.


The good thing is that two times I didn't automatically get credit for big offers, and all I had to do was email them through their system, and boom, the credit was in my account. No muss no fuss, it was fabulous.
