Decent map

just getting ready to go into planning mode and looking for a good map to get around easier.

I can remember a thread that took me to mapmans site? who was advertising maps but to wait until April before purchasing, just forgot to save the site...

Can anyone out there help and point to the website

Heres the website for Steve Munns map of Orlando, its the best ive seen out there.

However its still advertising his 1st edition with the 2nd revised edition not being available to purchase until the end of April.

This is easily the best map of the Orlando area (trust a Brit to get it right ) and is extremely user-friendly and up to date. We will certainly be recommending it in the next edition of the Brit's Guide. Steve tells us he is preparing to publish his 2nd edition, which will include a lot of handy up-dates, plus a breakout on the key Highway 27 area (if you are staying in a villa), but it may not be available until early May. However, even the 1st edition is worth having if you are going soon as it is still more up-to-date than most and is very precise in its locations (not something many of the local maps are good at).

I agree that this is the best map available. I do remember when we were using it in October that I found some of the information on the I-4 exits confusing. I'm not sure whether one or two are incorrect, or whether I'm just being thick. I seem to remember thinking at the time that it looks (in one case at least) as though an exit exists where, in fact, none does. Hopefully this will be rectified in the new edition. I'd intended to email Steve when we returned, but I can't remember now precisely what the problem was.

We found Steve's map to be extremely useful whilst planning our trip, it really helped us in locating not just the attractions but restaurants, supermarkets and hotels. It enabled us to judge the distances between attractions and the amount of time to allow for travelling and to work out the best route from our accommodation to our destination.

Whilst in Orlando it was invaluable and travelled everywhere with us.

Well worth the money.

Didn't they re-number all the exits a while back?

Yes, but the one I was using had both.
