My family and I are planning a trip to disney the first week in december and wondering which property has the most magical decorations for a 4 yr old. We are thinking of staying at BCV or BWV.

IMHO, both BCV & BWV are magical during the Holiday season. You can't go wrong with either.

FWIW, if you don't already have a reservation, you may find it very difficult to get one at any WDW DVC resort for the first week in December. I believe there are already waitlists for that week for all of the resorts. It is a very popular time to vist WDW for DVC members.

Not sure about the resort decorations but if we were going to go again in December my personal preference would be either BWV or BCV. You could walk to Epcot (lights, xmas around the world, candlelight processional) and MGM (Osborne lights). Also, you can get to Magic Kingdom via monorail at the other end of Epcot (xmas parade, we also had xmas dinner at the liberty tree)

Check out the Resorts board, in the photo section. They even have Christmas photo threads. IMO BW is more extravagant w/decorations than BC. IF I were staying @ Christmas VWL would be #1 and BWV #2. I will say AKV are similar to VWL.

If you are planning on Dec 09, you will need to get that reservation in Jan 09. If you are planning on Dec 08, there are already numerous waitlists for that time period.

Now, if you are planning on paying cash to CRO, you might still be able to get something.

We usually go in Dec. and all the resorts are beautiful. VWL was especially
nice. Enjoy! :santa:
