Actually, our group and another is waiting on other people so our groups will be full, so I would imagine that if we have any people "left over" they would be going into our groups. Not to step on your toes, but you have enough people. IMO

That was an awesome explanation. I had a huge upload myself, over 200 photos and it does take some time to see the photos on the site.

At the ranch we only have DSL but in the city I have T-1 line the wait time is shorter. I think it also has to do with how fast the internet connection is. Large uploads do take time to see.

I didn't know how Disney put the photos in order and thank you for the easy to understand explanation. I think asking each person to upload on a different day will be better than all at once.

RAM and processor speed will also matter. So anyone on an older machine or who has a RAM starved machine may feel some lag time.

Most high speed connections have good/great upload speed. So normally slow is more a matter of the machine you use.

I think the Photopass drama from some of the other threads is over (right?) so I will change the title back to something that suggests openings tomorrow. I don't think 4 or 5 people will be hard to come by. I may need 1 more too, as I have one I have not heard from in awhile.

Yes that was my thoughts too... I read some posts yesterday that were pretty alarming... and then she started to delete her threads. Seems to me she may have been caught up in a few "fabrications" and is now worried???? not sure. But the two she deleted here seemed for no real reason.

I hope the link stays active and the thread doesn't get deleted. While it is locked, it does serve a legitimate purpose.

It's kind of like the Paul Harvey (radio host) segment, "And now you know the rest of the story". Or at least more of it.

I'm not sure what the truth is, but I think it looks pretty bad. Every trusting person here is better for having all the information they can, so they can make up their own minds.

I know it sucks, but it may be a $20 lesson. I would probably err on the side of caution and ask to move to another group, pay the additional cost and move on. When you consider that you are going to be taking pictures and making memories... you may not want to trust that you will get what you paid for. I know it isnt fair to have to pay twice, but holding your breath until you receive your DVD isnt a great way to enjoy a vacation either. JMO!!!!
