When I was pregnant w/ Megan is when they quit making the sit and stand for awhile.They redesigned it and put it back on the market right before I had her for $200. I didn't want to spend that much because I wasn't going to use it that much. So I put my name on a waiting list at a consignment shop and got an older syle one for $25. It was in great condition, I just didn't love it. Taking it w/ us was not an option. Too bulky to take on the buses, etc. Dave wanted a compact stroller. So we got a new one that folds up like an umbrella stroller, but has the basket and leans back. I made sure I got one that held Hunter's weight. Anytime we go to an amusement park or zoo or something they both end up walking most of the time. At the end of the night if he wants to ride we can carry Megan if we have to. He hasn't napped since he was 2 so that isn't an issue. They can take turns. Megan would rather walk. We'll see...Did you want the phone book size answer? Sorry!

Yes, I love big answers. It makes me ask more. Which kind did you get that could hold Hunter's weight? My sit & stand is really new. We bought it earlier this year. Its really not any bulkier than our single stroller when it folds up. The front seat doesn't recline all the way down but enough so that Matt could sleep. I'll probably get him a neck rest too. It should fit in the basket & it still be able to close. We normally brought our single for Taylor in the past. Oh & remember how you said about the basket being ripped off easily on the sit & stand? Taylor has put alot of his weight on it already & luckily for us, the basket snaps on. Is that how yours was?

Oh guys, sickness is maybe making its way over here. Steve complained all day yesterday that he wasn't feeling well. This morning complaining of a sore throat.

Something else I want to share. My nephew & his GF are going to Disney the same time as Monica & they hadn't made any ADRs. I stressed the importance of this to them so many times. Well now, this weekend they seemed worried about making them. On our last full day there is when they arrive. We have ADRs for Capt. Jacks that night & they were able to get a ressie for within 10 minutes of us. I know we may not be able to sit togther but we'll try. He also called saying he was able to get everything he wanted pretty close to the times they wanted except for Garden Grill. But they are eating at places we are not, like Tony's, Shutters, Planet Hollywood, Mexico Rest. (not sure of the name) & I' don't remember the other.

Hi Roxanne! I don't have a ticker since I'm trying to surprise Samantha but I see yours says 18 DAYS!!! Which means its 18 DAYS for me too!!! I haven't stressed too much yet as this is just a quick little weekend trip. I tried to switch our reservations to POFQ but they were booked. The guy said to try again next week and maybe something will become available.

I'm glad to hear your nephew was still able to get ADR's. I haven't booked any yet either! I wasn't sure until recently if Erik would be joining us so I kind of put it off.

I don't have much to say on the stroller issue since I only have one kid! The renting option that Monica mentioned may be a good idea!

I checked into what Monica told me about but it looks like Taylor would maybe be too heavy for their & I wouldn't want to be responsible for damaging their stroller. We'll probably just bring the sit & stand.

We had the old one. Very bulky folded up. Basket did not snap on. We bought the Graco Mosaic (I think). We bought at Sears and I LOVE it! Large basket, folds up compact like an umbrella stroller, pushes smoothly even w/ Hunter in it, cup holder. I sold all of my other strollers at my yard sale. I sold the sit n stand for $30!

You'd think that Pop Warner would be staying at the Allstar resort, I am wondering if evenings at the parks are going to be crowded and full of peppy teeny boppers. I love ceerleaders and I love teens, but when you get that many together it's nerve racking. This is supposed to be my vacation away from cheerleaders.

Guys, had to come tell you this. I started packing only Matt's stuff but after getting it all in a suitcase, it was soooo heavy!! So, the more we thought about it, we think we'll get a delivery at the resort. So, I am off to check that out. Anyone has any experience with that?

When I was looking at the delivery sites, I just kept thinking what if I don't get something I really need. The one I was going to go with was WegoShop. They'll go to whatever stores you'd like & the charge is $17. I don't think that price is bad. But I already have all the stuff I need. So once again I looked into UPS. When I looked last time I was putting that I'd use one of their boxes & this time I put using my own packaging & it was much cheaper. Between $16-$20. So that is the route I am going now. I think I'll ship it on the Monday before we go, making it arrive the Wednesday & should be waiting for us on Friday. After handling the suitcase with all the water in it, I felt like it wasn't a vacation, more like a workout.

Let me bring everyone up to present...on Monday, DH twisted his ankle at work but was fine. Wednesday night he woke up with horrible pain in his foot. He went to the doctor yesterday & they thought it was fractured!! I just knew there was a reason I purchased the trip insurance. Luckily its only sprined & it should be fine in 2 weeks. Yep, I said 2 weeks

We also found someone to bring us to the airport so we don't have to let our vehicle stay there for a week. Things are coming around but still have lots to do.

That's great you don't have to leave your car. Are you getting excited?? It's kind of surreal to me. I just can't believe it's actually happening.
