I still havent purchased flight tickets. I will do that probably within the next 2 weeks. I hate all the changes that happen with flights. Last December my kids were at their Dads in MI. and their flight home was cancelled the night before, the next flight out was 3 days away. (small town) The ex wouldn't drive them to a bigger airport, so I had my parents drive up (4 hours one way) their to get the kids from the ex and then I drove to my parents house
(10 hours one way) to get them and bring them home. Of course I doubt that will happen to that extent for my Orlando flights, but still, always got to be on the look out for fear of missing the flight.

Maybe I should change the title of my PT to "Everlasting Flight Changes" Everyone warned me but gosh, golly, gee...all these changes & most of them so minor. Both flights have changed by 10 minutes & flight #'s. Didn't make much difference but again had to reassign our seats. The guy I spoke to wanted to change our flights all together because he said it was too much of a difference in the times that we are now flying compared to the original times & I assured him numerous times that all was well, but he kept going. You see these times were not available when we booked so these times are actually better.

Where is the time going? Its been a while again since I posted last.

Where will I begin.....Let me start off with whats been going on. Most recent thing is I have a staph infection, in my nose. OUCH!! During the night Sunday, I felt my face swelling. Went to the doctor on Monday, he said it was an abscess in my nose, gave me a shot of antibiotics, some by mouth & an ointment. I didn't go into work that day figuring the swelling would go down by Tuesday. WRONG!!! Still swollen. Went to a different doctor (Went to work 1/2 a day ) he gave me a cortizone shot & changed the antibiotics. the swelling has decreased now but its still there. And he said it is staph. Bummer. To go on now....

I bought a few more things for the boy's baskets....

Here is the stuffed animals for them, Donald for DS1, Eyore for DS2. I think I told you all about these. I got them from the Disney Store Online for $5 each

And here is some Nemo lip balm. I know DS1 will like it & DS2 likes anything DS1 likes. I had them in my purse a bit too long so the packaging looks raggady. Got this from CVS

I think that'll be about it for their baskets, unless I come across something really good.

I caught another Disney Store Online Sale yesterday where I bought some shirts. They were Studio shirts. I ordered me Tinkebell, DH Donald Duck, DS1 Stitch & DS2 Mickey. They basically all look the same just with the different characters. So, I got us each the character I think we are most like. I'll post pics of those when they come in.

We took a little family vacation to the beach last month too. Here is a family pic of that:

DS1 finished t-ball:

And bam summers over - DS1 starts school tomorrow. It all flies by too quick!! DS2 is already 7 months old!!

Okay, so the importance of me telling you about my staph infection **I stayed home from work that day** Disney Visa codes released that day

So first it looks like our dates are blocked but I call anyway & sure enough they can give me a deal...if I switch resorts. We are currently staying at POFQ if we switch to CSR or CBR we'd save $414!! Thats alot of bucks to save. I originally had chose CSR but opted out because I didn't like the food options there, BUT then we decided to get DDP so would CSR be for us now? After weighing out things like POFQ being smaller, having the boat to DTD, we decided to stay where we were. I called back & I inquired about upgrading & they offered me AKL for only $197 more. Not a bad deal & right away DH says thats what we are doing. But I talk him out of that because, forgive me guys, I just think AKL seems depressing. No upbeat colors, etc. and it would have been a standard view room, so we are staying put at POFQ.

What would you all have done?

Our days are slowly getting short, as of now we have 107 days left. I think I'll have to do one those savvy little countdowns soon. (You know the one at home to pull the days off)

Maybe I will have to get back to reality???

Tell dad to start making a cabinet. If he's getting trophys for t-ball, look out!!

Just noticed my coutndown on here says 3 months. 3 MONTHS!!! THREE MONTHS!! That means tomorrow it'll say 2 months whatever days. Can you tell how excited that has me??

My anticipation slowed down too. It was like I have everything planned down to a "T", everythings is paid for. What do I do now??

Even on other threads (not trip reports) it seems everyone asks the same questions over and over. Or starts one just like someone else.

Only thing I have are pre/trip reports. But it makes me want mine so much more.

Hi, just joined the report. I will be there at the world around the same time. I was just reading your post about switching resorts. I orginally had POFQ too and it was not available with the discount so we switched to CSR, we had to for the savings. If money were no object we would have stayed at POFQ too.
Anyway, I look forward to hearing more.

I think we will like POFQ alot - have you ever stayed there before? I really considered switching to save the money but (there always seems to be a but) we skipped Disney last year & used our Disney Visa for our fertility issues so we accumulated lots of points. Enough that its almost like we're actually paying for a value. As of right now we have almost $1000 in points. And we still have 3 full months left. We charge everything on that card & just pay it out every month. So, I guess for this instance money wasn't the deciding factor.

I have never stayed at FQ before, I have stayed at Riverside and really didn't like it very much. That is just me though, like you and the way you feel about AKL, I just don't like Riverside's decor. The things I did enjoy though were the boat and the foodcourt. I think you will enjoy the FQ. There is only about 5 resorts we have not stayed in, and FQ and CSR were 2 of them, so at least I am still moving to a resort that I have not stayed at. My goal is to stay at all the resorts, I am closing in on that
Anyway, back to you and your fabulous pre-trippie report.

Hey You never I never even thought about us being from New Orleans & staying at POFQ. That is funny. We live about an hour away from New Orleans & it does not look as nice anymore. Hurricanes messed it up. So, FQ will be a treat.

We are still set for the 6th - thats our Anniversary so I guess thats what we'll be doing special.

Been reading your report, lots of good plans and Ideas. Love the baskets. We are going to WDW about a month before you, staying at CBR. I better get started on some goody bags for the family, I feel like I am already behind. I have read about name badges for the kids and am on the lookout for them. We are on the dining plan too. Have all my ADRs ready. Actually I have 1 table service left. Suggestions welcome. We are going to Crystal palace (dinner), Princess storybook (breakfast), breakfastosaurus, Chef Mickey (Dinner), Hollywood & Vine (Lunch). We are also going to MNSSHP!!!

Where did you get the Mickey stickers for your countdown board?? (Love that too by the way) I think I should make one with my son he has already started asking if we are going to disney world every time we leave the house!!! I think some kind of count down device will help me keep my sanity!!!
