:woohoo: This is a trip that my DDiL and I started planning last December when my DS and DH were deployed to Iraq for their second time. :goodvibes They are both due home in a week or so, DS gets home first. :sunny: :woohoo:
But anyway we have rented a Condo  just off of 192 and Poincianna, have stayed is this location before and it only that about 5 minutes to the main gates at WDW :goodvibes .
We are leaving at around 3pm after DGS gets out of school :teacher: so he will only miss 3 days the following week. We will be driving from Ft Hood, TX to WDW, should take us about 18 to 20 hours to drive straight through. We should arrive about noon on the 16th. Upon arriving we will go to Shades to get our tickets, then to grocery store and then to Condo. Unpack, Eat and Relax. :dance3:
Sunday the 17th-MK :woohoo:
Monday the 18th-MGM
Tuesday the 19th EP :cheer2:
Wednesday the 20th -MK :wizard:
Thursday the 21st-AK ;)
Friday the 22nd-EP :rotfl2:
Thought that we would do 2 days each MK and EP as not to wear DDiL princess: and DGD(7mo) :cloud9: out, and they could leave early if need be. And DH and I could always come back to parks at night by ourselves :rolleyes1 ( alittle alone time)
Any suggestions on what were should do and not miss?? :surfweb:
Well I have to go and take care of the animals, Horses, Dogs and Cats. :lovestruc
Ya'all have a good day. :sunny: Thanks :woohoo:

I hope you gus switch off with the driving. When I was in IL on the interstate, there were road signs saying something to the effect that after 10 hours of driving you need a break-take it.

I'm sure this has been a hard time for you and your dil. Thanks to your husband for serving our country.

Hi All, :wave2:
Just a quick update we leave in about 7 days to start driving :car: to WDW. :woohoo: Both DH and DS are now back from Iraq  and are both on leave for 30 days :cool1: . Everyone is excided about going to WDW party: any suggestions on were to dine first nite offsite? :confused3
Hope everyone has a Merry Disney Christmas :santa: and a Happy Disney New Year pixiedust:

No suggestions off hand as to where to eat, but have a wonderful time! Now that we live near Ft. Benning and I've met so many military families I have an even greater respect for the sacrifices the whole family makes. It's wonderful that your DH and DS were able to get their leave at the same time! Looking forward to reading your report when you get back! Drive safely!
