December crowds

I need some help in regards to the crowds in December, we went last year Dec 1-6 and it was fabulous!! Hardly any crowds and able to enjoy everything (especially with little kids!). Anyways I was hoping to do 8-14th this year but WL has no standard rooms available during this time but does from the 10-16th. Can anyone give me a comparison on the crowd difference between the first two weeks and the third week of December? I want to be there for both my kids bdays this year, they are the 11th and 13th so have to work around those dates, these are also the days we intend to go to the MVMCP. Thanks in advance.

We were there last year from the 15th-20th of December, so that includes some of your dates. We went to MGM on our first park day (16th), and there was hardly anyone there. In fact, we took pictures of the street going to RNR and ToT just to show our friends and family how few people there were. The other parks were about the same as MGM, maybe just a little more crowded. I don't remember any problems with lines or anything. We did MVMCP on the 17th, and there were no lines for anything during that. I always love finding the characters and having pictures made, and we didn't have any lines or anything for that either.

Our last day there (the 20th) was a Sunday, and we headed to Epcot. This must have been the day the crowds arrived because we could not even get through the security lines without quite a wait. I think it will be fine going the 10th-16th--the crowds didn't seem to get there until the next week!
