December Crowds

Sorry if this question has been asked before but about when in December does the crowds at DL really get bad? I know the closer it gets to Christmas it gets really bad and generally stays bad through New Years but does it start as early as the week or week and a half before Christmas?

My guess is that the crowds will pick up significantly the weekend of the 22-23, and only get worse from there.

I agree. When we were there the week before Christmas, the Wednesday as fine, but Thursday was pretty crowded. After that, I'd assume it just gets worse and worse. Your best bet is the first 2 weeks, but the beginning of the third isn't bad either, plus the 3rd has extended hours and full entertainment.

Don't mind my crazy family, or my son's mohawk. He went so bald on the sides (so sad!)...We go every year in December for mine and my mom's birthdays and it's so fun and never crowded, except on the weekends.
