December crowd predications?

I'm getting a little concerned with the lastest crowd reports from WDW. We visited the first week of Dec. last year and had a wondeful time, mostly due to low crowd levels.

A lot of posts are indicating that the traditionally slow periods (1st week of Nov) have been unusually and extremely crowded.

We will be there from Dec 5th to the 13th. I know it's impossible to predict, but has anyone heard anything that might indicate higher than normal crowds this year? Maybe a CM out there that knows about resort booking levels, etc. ?

The first week of November is NOT typically an extremely slow time. Search for posts on "Jersey Week" and you'll get the details.

I would expect crowds to be higher than normal at least through the end of the year. A LOT of people had to reschedule trips due to the hurricanes this summer, and those visits will certainly increase crowd levels.

Still, the first couple of weeks of December it will not be unmanagable. Scout out the best days to visit each park. Make liberal use of FastPass. You'll be fine.

I think all the parks will be managable. Fantasyland at MK always seems to be packed. EE and fastpass are your best bets there.

We'll be there at the same time and I'm not worrying about it much.
