December BOG lunch reservation

We will be in the parks from December 15-19 and would like to get a lunch reservation for BOG. I have been trying to get a reservation but, the earliest time that I have seen is 2:25 which I do not want to do. I would prefer to have lunch around 12:00, but we are a little flexible with it. Are the reservations that full or am I being too impatient? I know we can always do the walk up line, but I would prefer to have the reservation. TIA.

If eating lunch there is a priority to you I'd take the 2:25 and keep looking to see if you can get something earlier. I do not think they have the walk up line any longer.

How badly do you want to eat at BOG? If it is a priority and 2:25 is the only time currently available, I would take it and continue checking online to see if something closer to noon comes up. BOG is still the hardest res to get, but there are cancellations because plans change. If 2:25 is too late for lunch you could just go for a mid-afternoon snack.

The vast majority who have tried walking up have been turned away so it is better to have a reservation and plan for lunch or an afternoon snack.

They were gone by my ADR day but I was just randomly Che king the app here and there and an 11:30 for four on 12/15 popped up one day so I snagged it. Keep randomly looking because you never know- good luck! I agree with pp just take what there is and keep looking... You can always drop it 24 hours out if you decide it doesn't work with your plans.

I would definitely book what you can ..and keep an eye out for what you want.

BOG is always crazy - you're lucky to even see a time!
