well just as i was all ready to book for March we may be able to actually go in December for my birthday and a big surpride for the kids :cool1::cool1:

I have always dreamed of going in winter especially around christmas i was just wondering what to expect in terms of extra shows parades etc

also i know Florida had photopass I was just wondering if there was anything like that in Paris or if you could do any ride photo packages ??

Sooo excited as if everything goes to plan we will be going out the day after my birthday and won't tell the kids til we are out for my birthday meal (not sure how im going to keep it a secret though im dreadful )

Yay!!! Even better!!

You can get an idea of what Christmas season is like by checking out some of the Trip Reports. We went in November last year and it was magical - so much so that we are going back again this year!! :wizard: :santa:

There are ride photos on the big rides like BTM and POTC and Buzz and usually at the meet & greets areas in the park & hotels. You have to pay for the ride photos at the ride shops, but the others you can purchase all together in the hotel gift shop or in the photo shops in the parks.

You can buy a pre-pay photo pack of vouchers towards them. Last trip we forgot this and pad for them all in the hotel which worked out cheaper, but, it wouldn't have included any ride photos.

Did that make sense?! :confused3

Happy planning & good luck keeping that secret!! :thumbsup2

Great news, the parks do look very beautiful and christmassy. :goodvibes

where do you get the photo vouchers and what can you use them for ? i didnt realise you could purchase any photos at the hotel ! do they give you a ticket when your photos are taken ? is it just official meet and greet photos ?

we havent been for 2 years and didnt bother buying any pics last time

Yes, you get a receipt when you have your photo taken with a reference number on it so that you can view it later. The hotels have meet & greet areas with characters which are a great way to meet them without too big a queue. We bought our vouchers at the HNY gift shop and I think you can get them at DLH gift shop & the photo shop in the park.
