Being a teacher, I can only travel to WDW during peak seasons. Anyhow, I'm planning a trip for NYE, and am looking for airfare from December 27 - January 1. I'm seeing aifare in the $400-$500 range. Ouch!! Any reccomendations on where to go to find it cheaper? I've tried Orbitz, and their rates are pretty much the same as booking through the airline directly. Any ideas on when Southwest will release their rates for this timeframe?

I'd prefer to fly from Atlantic City, but I could also fly from Philadelphia.

I would watch for SW to release thier fares for your dates. IF they are lower that could trigger a drop on other airlines. I also use the Travelocity Fare Watcher. You sign up at Travelocity.com and it sends you an email when the fares drop.

In 2004, SWA released their dates thru Jan. 14 2005 ON July 29, 2004.
In 2003, they released their dates thru Jan. 16, 2004 ON July 24, 2003.

So my guess would be sometime around the end of July, maybe July 28th or the beginning of Aug??? :confused3

I'm also waiting on that timeframe - hope past dates will help narrow it down!!!

Thanks, everyone! :)
