December 9th (2010), 3 nights Bahamas (Wonder)

We are thrilled to be getting out of winter wonderland :cool2:- did you have to drive on Sun am, I did what an ice rink - wow:scared1:.
Where are you in WI we are in Osceola.
Question - I was looking at all the cruise info and I think sleep is going to be tough to get, I was wondering about kids on the cruise if we want to go to the disco do they have babysiters or do the kids stay up in the kids care - what is one to do???
Mags

The Kids Clubs are open until 11 and they have an area with like nap mats they can sleep if they get tired, my oldest daughter was 3 on our last cruise and she had so much fun she was wide away at 11 when we picked her up! They dont have babysitters that come to your room unfortunately!

The time is getting closer and we are getting more and more excited!!! WOOOHOOO Come on 12/09/10

Hi there everybody;

It seems that quite a few of us are going to WDW before the cruise. I thought it might be great to see who is, where you are staying, dates etc...
I'll start...
Doug and I will be leaving Ontario on Wednesday (driving) to travel to New Jersey to spend Thanksgiving with my cousin and her family (shopping on Black Friday) and then checking into AKL Jambo House on Nov. 30th.
Anybody doing MVMCP on Dec 2nd?
We are doing a B2B cruise (3N then 4N) and then heading back to WDW (AKL)
until at least the 20th.
Anyone want to try to have an on land meet prior to the cruise?

We're driving down from MA staying at Saratoga the night before then going back to Saratoga for the week after the cruise.

We are from the Eau Claire area. Yes it was definately slippery on Sunday! Oh well, as long as I can make it to Minneapolis for my flight I promise there will be no complaining the rest of the Winter :rolleyes1....maybe!

Look forward to visiting some of the lounges in the evening and maybe some of the Mickey Mania or family game shows etc.
Question from a newbie-what were some of your favorite grown-up activities for evening hours?

We enjoyed going to the coffee shop and adults only pool, also just walking around the deck is beautiful! And since we will be going while the boat is decorated for Christmas there will be even more for us to see!!

don't forget to take time out to see the decorations in the port terminal. Also there is a tree lighting ceremony the first night. Don't miss it. It's a nice way to start the celebration.

Two weeks is entirely toooo long.

See ya real soon,

We will be at the Saratoga the week before Dec 2nd-9th and for that Sunday & Monday night following the cruise :) It's Suzannes "home" :)

OMG.. don't miss their version of the newlywed show. Match your mate? or something like that. It. is. HYSTERICAL. I was in tears watching it I was laughing so hard. They had a newlywed couple, a married for 15 yrs couple, and a couple married for 45 or 50. The older gentleman pretty much had no idea what was going on and the host had to keep repeating himself and then he would misunderstand him - even the host was in stitches. But let me tell you, he sure did make sure that we knew they had some hot "whoopee" going on in their cabin the night before!

PS - I caved and upgraded to a Navigator's Verandah!! They offered me an upgrade price that I just couldn't refuse. So.. I'm back to being a GTY, but this time for a cat 6!!

Oh and since I live in Orlando.. I'm always here.. in my house, lol.

:rotfl: Aren't you interested to see how you would do 8 years later?! This sounds like a lot of fun!

Getting sooo excited!! It's so close!

So everyone - which dining seating do you have? We have a later one, not sure what our rotation is but last time we had PTA. Missed Parrot Cay because of our Palo reservation - this time palo is night #2 for our anniversary, so maybe we'll get the same thing? They seemed to have a lot of us younger couples and groups in the same dining room / rotation.

We have first, since we have kids, it was easier to go to dinner, then drop the kids off in the club and nursery while we enjoy the rest of our night.

We have second. We've always preferred to play all day, eat dinner then go to bed! But maybe we'll bring the kids to the club for a while! Do we need to book that in advance?

no, you dont have to book the clubs, just drop them off and go. The nursery for kids under 3 you do have to book in advance and you also have to pay for the nursery, but you do not have to pay for the clubs!
