December 9, 2016 — 7-Night Bahamian Cruise from Galveston

We cruised in December of 2015 and now we're booked for December 9, 2016. It will be my daughter, son-in-law, granddaughter and me. My granddaughter and I definitely want to be in a FE group. We had so much fun last time. She will be 7 and I'm 50+.
I have you listed on the FE List but I do not have a Cabin number for you. Was wanting to get that updated for you

I sent a message to the group on FB yesterday but I thougt I would post here also just in case. Due to the fact that there are 2 groups Dedicated to the the same cruise on December 9th 2016 we are merging the two FB groups and the group I created will be closed. the other group has several 10 cabin groups. We are still on the same FE list so nothing really has changed other than we have merged with a much larger group. as of now Our FE list is complete at 11 and the way they do their list is they have a master list of all the groups seperated by Disney Character names Our character name is Goofy. as soon as it gets set I will post the List here.

also This group does mixology sessions. Here is the info i recieved from a member on the FB group. It's $20 or $25 per person. It's a class where they open up one of the bars for your scheduled class and the bartender teaches the group how to make a variety of drinks. They normally teach you to make 5-6 different drinks or shots. You can of course drink all of these while you are participating, so of course everyone is pretty silly. It's definitely a fun time. It's fun to learn or just a cheap way to get a lot of drinks - whichever you are into. If we have enough people we can schedule our own classes within this group. If you do not want to precook or do it with this group, on embarkation day you can generally sign up for any open classes then. Let me know if you would like to be a part of that and I will let them know to ad you to the list of those who want to join

We're considering booking this cruise, but have not prebooked anything. Hoping that there will be some *GTY rates released as it gets past paid in full date. If that happens, we're in for sure! :)

Hello all - I'm also on our FB Page - I am taking names of people who would like to do an Open Bar, Martini, Mojito or Chocolate and Liquor Pairing on our cruise! Send me an email at LLBollengier@aol.com or write on the comments for this file on the FB page!!

Hello All!! I would like to officially start collecting names off participants for the Open Bar, Martini, Mojito and Chocolate -Liquor Pairing events.

  1. Open Bar is a great deal, $13.25 per person (prepaid) all you can drink one hour. Premium Bar: $13.25 per person 1 hour (per person / per hour ~ 25 guest minimum)$2.12 service charge included **This will have to be pre-paid if it makes!!

Liquor included among others…

Vodka: Absolut, Smirnoff ~ Rum: Bacardi, Captain Morgan, Parrot Bay ~ Gin: Beefeater, Tangueray ~ Whiskey/Bourbon: Canadian Club, Seagrams VO, Jack Daniel ~ Tequila: Cuervo Gold ~ Cognac: Courvoisier VS, Hennessy VS ~ Wines: White/Santa Carolina Chardonnay Red/Santa Carolina Merlot & Brancott Pinot Noir; Blush/Beringer White Zinfandel ~ Beer: Budweiser, Bud Light, Corona, Heineken, Michelob Ultra, Samuel Adams, Newcastle Brown

2. Martini Tasting Class - $20 per person In Martini Tasting, you’ll sample a variety of gin- or vodka-based cocktails, each one with a unique taste and method of creation. In addition to the Classic Martini, we’ll introduce you to specialty cocktails with a modern twist, like the Cosmopolitan or Apple Martini, and dessert drinks, like the Toblerone Martini or Chocolate Martini.

After an introduction to the history of the Martini, the bartender will explain the secrets and curiosities that evolve around the world of Martinis. How did the martini become so famous? Gin or Vodka? Shaken or Stirred? Olive or Lemon? I’ve done this several times and each time all attendees got 5 drinks and some people are called up to make a bigger version of each drink usually 3 or 4 people..

3. Mojito Tasting Class - $20 per person Same kind of thing It starts off the seminar with a little history of rum, the different types of sugar you can use (simple syrup, cane syrup, agave, etc.). Probably we will make the “traditional” mojito, we will be instructed on howto “muddle” gently, not crushing the leaves too much, but really getting those limes smashed up. It smells divine! After the muddling, you add your ice (fill to the top), pour the rum over the ice, fill the remainder of empty space with club soda, and stir! Which by the way is way more fun to do when you have a cute little Disney Cruise Line swizzle stick. The next three mojitos had the same instruction, only they had fun extras already in the cup. Secondly might be a watermelon mojito; all of the same ingredients as the previous mojito along with two fresh watermelon cubes. *On a side note: If you can’t drink 4 mojitos, they bring out “to go” cups. And if you do drink 4 mojitos and want more, they’ll let you use any extra supplies left on the tables. Talk about getting your $20 worth!

4. Chocolate Liquor Tasting Class - $35 per person - This sounds like a lot but the surprise is just one of the drinks is $35 a shot and the chocolate and caramels are divine, Disney doesn’t skimp, this chocolate is over a hundred bucks a bag!! Plus there are some other nice surprises like 10 Year old Port and Parmesan from Palos!!

**** Please note - Open Bar is paid in advance and the other ones are billed to your stateroom
