This will be our first ever cruise, and I'm researching away. We're going with DH's parents and his siblings and their kids (our DD is the oldest kid at 8). I'm getting so excited!

Happy Tuesday Morning:

Let's just hope that today is better than yesterday was.

It was so bad yesterday, that at lunch time, I was opening my bottle of soda, that had been sitting on my desk all morning and it exploded all over me, I had coke all over....what a mess, then I had to sit in the wet clothes for a time until they dried. Yuk.....

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. I signed the roll call, but haven't decided if I want to do the FE yet. We will at least have a decorated door thanks to this board, and I'm going to do magnets for my in-laws' doors too.

Hello Fellow Cruisers!!!

I have a very important FE Update for everyone.

I am thisclose to closing the FE. At the moment, we have 24 staterooms, but I have not been able to contact two posters - dream1211 and bluemoon1070.

If you know them, or know of them, please let them know I am seeking their updated information and email, and whether or not they are still participating.

I posted a similar message on the Facebook group.

If those two do not respond, we would theoretically have two more spots available, as the cap is 24 staterooms, but I am closing it regardless by this Friday.

If you are still interested in the FE, and there are enough interested parties, I will begin a second list for "Group 2"

Just an FYI:
Old Navy has some cute pirate outfits for kids up to 5T. They are 23.95 but they are currently 30% off. Has Brown Cut-off pants, Shirt, and hat. Old Navy makes good quality costumes. I think you can combine with 20% coupon ontreat. Hope this helps. We got two for our sons.

John and I are back at my house again for a couple of days. We had a lovely trip to the Northwest and a great cruise to Alaska. We'll be spending next week at Lake Tahoe. By the time we got off the ship and tried to book a Palo brunch reservation they were sold out I'm hoping we'll be able to book when we get to the ship I've been trying to get caught up on all the pages of posts since we left...

We were in Lake Tahoe over the Labor Day weekend. There was a lot of smoke from the Yosemite fire. It was uncomfortable to take walks in the morning but got better after around 10 AM. I think it must have cleared up by now.

Wow,

this has been a very busy past 3 days....

So, the wedding was last night. I did not get any pictures of Wally and I on my camera, but here are a few of the bride and groom.

The wedding was great, they did a nice job on getting it all together.
So we are now just sitting and relaxing...it has been a long 3 days.
