So I sent back the form regarding the Dis meet. I requested D Lounge for this....so will see what happens......I requested it from 2:45 - 3:45. Does not mean we need to be there the whole time, just so people can stop in to say hello. It is so starting to be real now....

I get to make ressies on 9-8. so that is not that far off either....

The time is good for the meet n greet. We will most likely be there the whole time, unless there is not a great turnout. September 8th for us too...

I agree, time is great! I do know there is something for Concierge guests first thing, but we will break away as soon as we can (or I will and leave Dave to handle whatever).

Here is something really bad....one of my friends I work with, they are going on a cruise leaving 8-31-13 (like 3 weeks) her husbands vacation was approved thru his immediate boss....but he found out this weekend he can not go, as the big boss will most likely fire him, as this is their busy time and he needs projects done. So my friend is so upset, she is trying to find someone who can go to fill his place, as they pretty much will lose the entire amount of the cruise. His employer has know about this for about a year....

I cant believe that his boss would do that to him.

That is a low act but it's not unusual. Luckily DD hasn't had that problem (so far) but I know that some of his shorter leave, like a few days here and there, has had to be changed because of work changes

We have decided not to book any excursions for Grand Cayman, think we are going to grab a cab and go to Hell and she wants to hit a certain shop while we are there and thats about it.....

But looking forward to the Salsa Salsa in Costa Maya

I still haven't settled on excursions yet. I wish they would give us the times they go for because there are a couple I would love to get to do at the same port. On our P&O cruise years ago we could book knowing the times the excursions were for so we come back to the port from one and jump on another.

We probably will be too, unless turnout is dismal. But if you really click with people it makes things fly

Not much happening here. I have sinus and feel rather crummy. I'm sure it will be well and truly gone for the weekend of the 24/8 for my Brisbane Dis-Meet I'm really looking forward to it (even though we've hit a snag - DH is meant to be working away that weekend and I now have to work out what to do with the kids )

Is it too early to start packing? I'm really eager to get sailing

Just about done here, will be leaving work in about 15 minutes....

I booked our Limo today.....and now all we have left is to book our excursions and Palo....woohoo..... I cant believe we are this close to going....

Well we had another exciting week. Our dog Kali had to have surgery yesterday for a torn ligament in her knee and her knee cap had to be relocated to where it should be. Just brought her home and I feel so sorry for her. It's hard when you can communicate with them like people.

Oh, so sorry for you puppy....it is so hard when they are injured or not feeling well. Been there with my Doberman (who we put down 1.5yrs ago)

Oh no!!! Poor puppy!!!
Hope she feels better soon! YOu might not be able to communicate with words, but your actions, she understands them and knows you love her!

so what happed what did she do?

she has what's called a luxating patella where the knee pops out. on top of this she somehow tor her knee ligament (human acl).
