December 7, 2013 - Winter Fantasy Cruise

"happy" Monday, everyone! I'm sitting here watching the news as always and listening to them talk about how Disney raised the prices. I'm sad about that, but not surprised. They do every year. Another $6 increase. After Universal raised theirs, Disney had to follow suit.



I'm up for either lanyard or shirt or both. BUT we do need a graphic or something!

Australia is on bucket list. We visited New Zealand in 2010 & loved it.

We go back to NZ next year for a shirt trip (2weeks). England is on the top of my 'one-day' list

Happy Monday back at you (but its Tuesday for me). Back at the doctor with DD who fell off her bike on the way home from school yesterday and hurt her wrist. It's not broken but rather sore. I know, me too!!! That 120 day booking day is right around the corner! Not that I have a lot I want to book, but it's our first 120 day so I want to be ready!

hey, do you think I might get a brunch without having to book it on the ship and get on the wait list? I always got one that way, but I have never been able to say "we have brunch on __" before we got on the ship!

Happy Tuesday...

Well my daughter has her doctor appointment today. Her husband will be deployed and will not be here for the delivery, so I will need to be in Seattle when she delivers...(I'm not complaining) but here is where it gets a little sticky....so I dont have a lot of vacation time left....about 3 wks. I would like to be in seattle for at least 2 wks...but that is right at cruise time..and I need to come back a work around the Thanksgiving week/weekend.....so I asked my daughter to see if he would think of inducing her a week early...which would fit a lot better in my schedule her due date is 11-17-13...I was hoping for around the 12th or 13th...so keeping my fingers crossed that this all "plays" out.....or I may have to cancel this cruise

so a LOT of pixie dust would be appreciated, as I really do not want to cancel this cruise....

since this is her second, I dont see why he could not do this. will keep you posted.

between Wally and my daughter, they really like to keep me on my toes....

She's okay. The pain in her wrist is probably from swelling pushing on the tendon or nerve or something. She had X-rays and the doctor couldn't see anything but he will wait for the radiographer's report which will come in a few days. She's got it bandaged for a week or two though. He said she could have the rest of the week off school but I said it wasn't broken so she could go. It is her writing hand so she can get someone to take class notes for her

Fingers crossed it all goes to plan for you. I'm sure the doctor wouldn't have any objection to inducing unless there's a medical requirement not to.

DH doesn't want to do a Palo brunch but I would like to. I don't want to eat by myself so if anyone is interested in a 'spare' tagging along I'd be happy to oblige Or if someone is thinking of a group brunch perhaps? On a sea day though.

I'm not an overly fussy eater (I just don't like pork but I will eat bacon and ham, I know, it's all the same thing really) and I do have fairly decent table manners (I do sometimes forget the rule about elbows on the table). I do like to take lots of photos of food and my surrounds.

If you think you could bear to dine with someone who has a funny accent and mildly questionable table manners and food quirks then message me

OK! Crossing fingers, toes, knees and elbows!! 11/17 is my granddaughter's birthday!!

I think it would be fun to have brunch together, Mary Ann! We had brunch on our first Disney cruise and it was wonderful. Just have to make sure it doesn't interfere with the character breakfast. This is our 4th cruise so I think we're still in the 90 day zone. I'd say the more, the merrier too!
