We are focused right now on Davenport, 20 minutes from Disney. We are looking at 3br with a pool. Pool is a must have for us with the heat down there.

Oh absolutely a pool is a necessity! No doubt! :thumbsup2 In fact, I've done more dreaming about the pool than the actual house! :lmao:
Our yard here is not conducive.

And here I thought I was your new best friend! :confused3 :rolleyes1

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

We can share our stay with Chuck....he will be so tired of us just dropping by with suitcases in hand, he may have to move back to Philadelphia...:rotfl::lmao: or just change his address in Florida...::yes:::rotfl:

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! Chuck, congratulations on selling the homestead. Hope you find a great place in Florida. Just be warned--I call the pool, the money pit in the backyard!

Angie

Happy thanksgiving to you all (I don't know if it still that time for you but it's 4.07pm on Friday here). We don't have that here but I think it would be lovely; I like turkey and that's what we normally have here for Christmas in Australia. Or seafood- oysters, prawns, fish, cold ham and roast meats and salad because its always sooooo hot!

Anyhoo I ended up with the flu and spent all week in bed and today on the couch. Got a call from DS's school - he's burning up can you pick him up please :(. Yay me.

I'm thinking we will all be best friends soon with some new Floridian home owners soon, especially if they have a pool... We arrive late November '13 and there'll be 4 of us :). We don't eat much :)

I know I'm kinda late to the party, but I hope that everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and those that are braving the stores today, keep safe and don't get hurt!

Same to you, I am only braving my desk at work :rotfl2: However, that can be a more dangerous place, then black friday at walmart!!:lmao

(Frank,) I work in Naperville.....enough said....but if you have questions regarding this let me know....:thumbsup2

Wow, really is a small world. Its gotten really built up there now...tons of resturants and shops right off Weber and Boughton Rd.

Well another hour and I'm outta here. I'm pretty much caught up on all my work, so this has been a really loooonnnggg morning.

We are taking Wally's care in for oil change when I get home, then I'm thinking of pulling my Christmas stuff and start that project:thumbsup2

So I heard!!!! I lived in one of the subdivisions off 107th...which I think is now called Lily Cache Lane, there was nothing really on Boughton and the only restaurants was Mr. Quicks, the 76 Truckstop and a pizza place in the Zayre shopping center.

I have to work late. 6-4. :sad2:

New tree here and it would be decorated if it weren't for the first segment having a bad connector so the other sections wouldn't light up. Glad it came with a 5 year warranty.

We're home from an enjoyable Thanksgiving with my daughter and her family in Chico, CA. The weather was gorgeous and our drive home today was pretty much traffic-free and delightful! I am tired now though--Angie

This is going to be a strange Christmas for us, we always decorate everything. All our Christmas is in storage and we can't get to it. We did manage to get to one of our 3 trees and a small box of ornaments so we will at least have a tree. It's going to be strange not having our Disney tree this year. But brighter days are ahead. :cool1:

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoyed their time with family and friends.

We have had a very busy three days, everything is packed that is going to the townhouse except for clothes . Everything else is out and ready for the estate sellers who arrive tomorrow to start pricing and organizing. We had to have everything we are not selling either packed away or out of sight. We are physically and mentally exhausted. I can't believe I am actually excited to be going back to work.

I dont mind decorating, it just seems the older you get the more work it becomes. It was Wally's idea not to put the tree up this year. Since its just him and me, my daughter and grandaughter will not be here for Christmas this year...and that takes the majority of the day to get up and decorate..
Plus its down in the family room and even on Christmas eve, we dont go down there much, we pretty much hang between the kitchen and dining room..so we did buy a little 3 foot tree for the dining room...its came out really cute so that's good enough for this year.:thumbsup2 But your right, just think next year you will be in your new home, in nice warm Florida and you get to decorate early before the cruise and maybe even Thanksgiving:goodvibes I have been thinking about putting up my Chirstmas stuff before thanksgiving next year so I dont have to worry about it when I get home from the cruise. :thumbsup2

At time like your going thru, work sometimes feels like a vacaction:eek::rotfl:
Also remember your leaving shortly for Disney...how great is that...dont even think about whats going on at home.
