We are home from Mass and brunch, it's quiet here for the moment but two of our lovely grandchildren will be visiting soon. The cats will run and hide as it's the littlest ones!
Then it's back to work, but only 5 days left of work...we are 10 days out!!!!

It's really real!!! I'm going on vacation!!! AND this one will be when all is said and done.... 17 days long!!!!

The poor mite had to have a local anaesthetic injected into the area and then it was burnt off 
She was very brave but her dad and I couldn't look - it was left up to the nurse to hold her hand! We just called out general supportive comments. DH said it wasn't so much the needle into the eye lid that got to him, rather the fact that our doctor is old and his hand was rather shaky 
At least now it's gone and that's one less thing to make her self-conscious as a pre-teen
I've got stewing steak out from the freezer so I'll be making stew or a casserole I guess. The kids aren't big fans but my freezer is too full and I'm trying to use up what I've got in there before buying anything else. 
I know, 411 days early
