Chuck said that all who are sailing can vote, rather than just the DISer, is that right? How would that work then? Would I put in "Marlea98's DH" or something like that if he wanted to to have a say? Not that I think DH would care but he might want to have a say.

No work for me today so I've put on a load of washing, taken something out of the freezer for dinner, next I need to make breakfast and have a shower then go to the gym. I've got an exciting life

Evening all:


Just got home from work about 30 minutes ago. I have to say, I started work at 11:30 and left around 7:30...the day actually went pretty fast.

Now let's hope the rest of the week goes like today.

I bet Chuck is having a wonderful time on his cruise.

As the world turns, one lot of people are getting home from work and going to bed, while others have just started their day Another day of work for me (well, actually, it's Wednesday and it's the only day of work I've had this week so far), so I'll be teaching 4 and 5 year olds and will have a headache tablet before I go to prepare for the day It's one more day of work so one more paid day towards our holiday

Yea tuesday is "officially" over. 3 more working days and the wonderful but short weekend. Wally and I both have blood test scheduled for Saturday morning at 6am yes he is making me get up that early on a saturday...but the flip side to the coin he is also buying me breakfast afterwards and I am looking forward to that...going to get my pumpkin pancakes....love them....yummy....then when we get home, its yard work...we have to put all our stuff away... official end to the summer and begining of winter

Ok, that is just not fair....I really wasnt waiting for the top, however I just havent seen anyone post for a day...thought everybody left town and didnt tell me....

I dont blame you for being excited....geez I cant wait and I have 14 months to go....

crazy busy at work and I have a feeling so will tomorrow.....

So I wonder if Chuck is having a good time on his cruise? Like I'm sure he's not....

It was really too much to pass up on! I had been running like a loon most of the day and had the opportunity to hop on there....I HAD to do it, ya know? it was a COMPULSION, I tell ya! A COMPULSION!

I'm trying really to stay away from the boards right now because it's too easy to get into a zone and forget I'm actually supposed to be working. Like right now, I woke up PARCHED and came down to get a drink of water.....I had to get online. I NEED to go to BED! I have to be up in 5 hours for work!

Hope all goes well for you both. I'm taking DD to the doctor on Monday for a big skin tag or stye (don't know what it is really) on her lower eyelid. I'm hoping they can remove it then and there so we don't have to reschedule another appointment for its removal. Actually, I hope they can or will remove it for her as I think she'll become very self-conscious of it soon enough.

It's 10.40pm here so I guess I should be heading off to bed shortly. So far I don't have to work tomorrow (but only an early morning phone call has the potential to change that), so I'm planning a trip to the gym then off to the shopping centre (mall) to exchange a jacket that I bought that was a size or two too big. Then do a mad dash cleaning the house before DH gets home

I know about that COMPULSION thing.....ususally by the time we are getting close to the cruise I am always checking whats going on, as I might miss something....COMPULSION or OBSESSION hmmmmmmm a very thin line.....

Hope things go well for your daughter, I had one of thoes crazy growth things on my eye a few years back....they took it off right away....so here's to hoping they do it at the office visit.

I just went to the dermatologist for a skin/mole check. She just started snipping the skin tags off my neck--now my "geese flying in formation" are no more!! When I had preschoolers they would always point to my little skin tags--had no idea it was so simple to get rid of them!!

So where were you flying from?

I'm telling ya, I am jealous, I havent been anywhere since April when I flew to Seattle for my grandaughters birthday. I need to go somewhere...but I have a wedding that I need to help with, plus the holidays....yikes....

going to lunch shortly.....altho I wish it was time to go home.
