The one thing that I received as a FE gift that I still have on my keychain..someone asked who are favorite character is, then made and laminated key chains, with our screen names, and said I Dis..do you? and it had a bar code on it...so it looks like a store saver card...I thougth that was very creative.

But since I have noooo artistic talent I am just not going to join in.

Another thing we did on our last cruise was a post card exchange....get post cards from your hometown and then pass them out....that was fun...sign the back and make the round of the ship and deliver them...I bought them at the airport the day we left and filled them out on our flight to Florida, kept me busy...

Going to clean up in the basement today...it really is a mess and I need to clean it before I pull out my Christmas decorations and make it a mess again.

OK, I've got it bad!!!!
I have been online a couple of times looking at the Fantasy in port watching a ship that isn't doing a thing...

I need to get up and go do the laundry...away from the computer!

I like the postcard idea. They don't take up too much space in the luggage either! I'm not very crafty either and have decided not to do the FE. Just too much pressure to perform

Not yet 7am and I'm meant to making sandwiches to take out to motocross today (my son started racing last year, so I'm being the good mum and cheering him on ), instead I'm DIS-ing

Some of the things I gave out included some lime green Mickey heads that I had printed the people's names on then laminated into bag tags. We put our own on our backpacks before we got on the plane at home; it upped the anticipation level for the kids, especially. A friend of mine had taken some lovely photos of our coastline and beaches so he let me use one of his panoramic shots and I turned them into bookmarks. I also had some little Australian bits and bobs that I gave out, like key rings, koalas, stickers, tattoos and things. I printed and laminated some 2012 calendars as well as buying heaps of lollies and trinkets from the dollar store. We could only carry so many things over in our luggage anyway, and your dollar stores were a trove of treasures (we have nothing like that here, sadly). I also bought extra things as our cut-off for the FEs was 3 or 4 weeks before sailing (because we had a week at DLR before our cruise) but people still signed on at the last minute even after we'd already left the country, so I had at least some lollies to hand out to those late-comers.

The key chain on the left is one of the lovely things we received on our Wonder cruise. The CC one on the right wasn't a FE gift but part of some of the lovely things given to us from some lovely friends we made on the cruise. Sometimes when I start my car I like to pretend I'm about to set sail

There is always chocolate...

Some of the most useful item we received from people was those little Bath and Body Works hand sanitizers. I loved them so much I bought heaps of them before we flew home.

I just watched the Fantasy sail out. Two more sail outs and then it's my turn!

Well I was watching the Fantasy sail out...but by 15 after, I had to start dinner..I came down about 30 minutes later and I saw the back of the ship starting to hit open waters....wonder what the delay was??

I think they were waiting for the pilot....shortly after that you saw a tug come scooting in. There were two ships that sailed out just before 5.

Morning....

Just got up, going to jump in the shower then head grocery shopping, I have nothing in the house for breakfast or dinner...

I also am working the later shift tomorrow, so I start work at 11:30am and get off at 8pm. I am not fond of thoes hours, but we are all taking our turns at working late until our girl on maturnity leave gets back...sometime the end of November, first of December....

I did see the carnival Dream sail out, and then noticed the carnival in front of it.... so that was the reason......

OH!!!! I bet I know one of the movies that will be playing on our cruise!

Johnnie Depp in The Lone Ranger! I got an email with a trailer for the 2013 release....It just didn't say WHEN in 2013

But chances are good! There are several new ones on our cruise coming up....Wreck it Ralph, Frankenweenie, The Strange Case of Timothy Green, Brave....looks like lots of good movies, but I don't want to spend my entire cruise in the movies!

I know your leaving for your cruise in a few weeks, so I dont blame you for being excited, however, I'm excited about this cruise and we have over a year before we go.... But once the holidays are over, I know it will move along....look at this year.....where did the summer go??

Chuck said that all who are sailing can vote, rather than just the DISer, is that right? How would that work then? Would I put in "Marlea98's DH" or something like that if he wanted to to have a say? Not that I think DH would care but he might want to have a say.

No work for me today so I've put on a load of washing, taken something out of the freezer for dinner, next I need to make breakfast and have a shower then go to the gym. I've got an exciting life
