It may be four hundred and thirty something days until we sail but it's only about 12 weeks until Christmas

This year, while we swelter in a tropical summery Christmas our minds will no doubt wander back to last year's white one At least we can set our airconditioning to really cool...

I cant even think about Christmas yet....I love it, but I hate what follows....cold and snow for months and months and months.......you get the picture.....


But at least when we hit 12-7-12 date only 365 to go

I know, its very pretty where you live. Altho I have not been there since I was in high school, I had an Aunt and Uncle that lived off the bay...in Bel Marine Keys...(sorry about the spelling) used to love to go there and walk down their dock and go for boat rides. That was such fun....I really miss thoes times. My Uncle was a great guy and took us all over the SF area...I really should go back sometime.

I like the cold weather but only if I'm holiday and wanting it

We have cyclones, even though they're not a regular thing.

It's is really windy here at the moment, we call it the mango winds as it coincides with mango trees flowering and beginning to fruit. I've been trying to paint some kitchen shelves outside and not doing too well. I told DH last night on the phone and he asked why didn't I do it in the shed I just didn't even think of that!

It's the weekend for us tomorrow then one more week of school holidays and that'd be it for the rest of the year until Christmas holidays begin Then, yes, come the 7th December it will only be 365 days to sail away!!!!!

Just watched our ship sail out for the week....so wish we were on board! The shot was so good, we actually watched someone sailing through the Aqua Duck!!! Can't wait!

One of these days, we want to visit there! It's on our bucket list...along with a lot of other expensive things! That's one reason they are on the list--we can't afford to!

Wally and I cut the lawn today, then we washed three vehicles...went grocery shopping, then we both took a nap, (Wally is still sleeping) and I am going to start dinner.....

Just been really busy at work, spend 8 hours on the computer and just didn't want to do it at home. Next week I'm on TDY orders so don't know if I will be on line at all. But I will be sure to catch up when I get back!

I hope all the snow stays out west. We had a nice break this past winter and it would be great if it continued this winter. We had 3 major blizzards between Dec 2010 and Jan 2011 with a total of over 4 feet of snow. We do not want a repeat.

Mark has a wedding today and I went grocery shopping, took a nap, watched the Hunger Games again, and just finished dinner. Very relaxing day. Tomorrow we have my parents coming over for dinner, last visit before they head to Florida.

We've visited the Disney Family Museum last fall. It is very well done and extremely interesting. I definitely want to go again!
