Just catching up.....it has been such a busy week. Homework, housework(I do some occassionally), Natalie in ballet practicing for TWO spring performances, our second home neighbor is here...her dh passed away suddenly a year ago and we've tried to spend a lot of time with her.....work is driving me *&(*$A& crazy....anyway...

Rae...what a sweet pix...I'm sure she and Natalie would have been best buds.....what kind of surgery did you have??? I missed it somewhere....count on us for brunch, high tea, whatever you can arrange at Palo...don't forget...Natalie will LOVE to hear about your horses....

ANN...girl....get out of that snow...it's not too warm here at the moment and we had lots of rain last night....lots of rain...but the sun is out...

Lamp....are you going to stand at the toll booth and wait for us?? I told dh(Jim) he thought I was nuts...

Lisa...the web site is really good...you are so talented..

FLEXMOM...haven't talked to you yet.....but we'll have a great time on the cruise....

Gotta run....Jim and I are coloring my hair...have to cover up that gray that work and an 11 yo...and a 45 yo...and a 2yo(4 legged one)...have caused me.....

We just listed 38 items (mostly schoolbooks/computer games) - it's under Tom as threichert.

We do okay - have only had one seller who didn't pay (waited til today from 1/13) to put down negative feedback and report to Ebay.

It helps get rid of the clutter! Tell Jay and Michael that it seems that the last day or two is the big push to buy. I'm pretty much the same way - I am one of those who wait til the last minute to put in a bid generally!!!!

Ann, it looks like your auctions are doing great!!! You usually don't see action until the last couple days so they look very promising. I alway snipe myself but if someone wants to have a bidding war on an item I am selling, I don't mind. LOL! I just had 56 end & only 7 items sold. I'm maining starting to list spring clothing from the kids. This is the worst series I have EVER had. I will try relisting again in a couple weeks along with a few other things.

I'm so sorry to change the subject, but I must pick your collective brains about some things about the Magic! I've done Palo at night (wonderful and we'll do it again) but don't know anyone who's done brunch or tea. We don't really want to do all three - what is your preference of brunch or tea?

Today I found a beautiful Christmas dress for Katie's formal for next year - $21 at Sear's on their clearance - can't beat that and got me excited all over again! Hopefully she'll be the size 7 that I bought!

My husband Bruce and I and two of our old friends (John and Michelle) from military days are sailing on the same cruise as you all.

It's my husband's first cruise ever and our friends first Disney cruise. (I went on the three day with some girlfriends last year). What we DON't know about this cruise would fill volumes, but we're really looking forward to it.

You sound like such a fun bunch!

Hey flexi- how old is your daugher? I hope she does not grow out of the dress by the cruise.. young ones grow so fast.. (although they can wear shorter dresses too to make up for that growth )

The preschool play went nicely,, well actually I ended up having to be in it as two of the "actors" refused to do their part unless they could sit on my lap.. never fails, but I love the kids so it is ok..
I am THRILLED that thanks to Rae and her husband I am no longer an ebay looser and I have bids on some of my stuff.. I am so psyched to go to florida in a week, it is so cold here I just hate it!

flexmom - Brunch, by far! It's got more food and more fun than you can ever imagine. High Tea is just tea and some scones (nice but not a meal - and no shrimp!)

LindaBabe - Welcome to The Dueling Wine-0's cruise. I'm from Greene County - went to college at Maria! SMall world. Tom and I are ex military also - so glad you will be with us - fun bunch?! Oh my! We are just people who really have never met eachother but write so much on this and other forums that we have become "friends" -

Ann - you were never a loser - and just wait til you see how the bidding gets closer to the ending day/time. Ask me I just lost out on a great tux for Michael (looking for size 8 - if anyone has one).

I went to high tea with the ladies from the board last time & it was nice. They rushed you a bit but we just sat & talked.

Maybe they have changed tea Rae, but we had alot of food served. We even turned some down. There were finger sandwiches. VERY good ones too! Scones, chocolate eclaires , triffles and one other thing that I can't remember. It almost ruined dinner for me that night because I was pretty full.

Well then, brunch it will be. I've never been much of one for sticking out my little finger with tea! Ann - Katie is 4 right now - 5 in April. She's tall for her age and is already generally a size 5 or 6. I went with the 7 thinking it would give her plenty of growth room. If she surprises me and takes off between now and then, at least I'm only out $21 and have a nice dress to pass on to the nieces!

Welcome, Linda - now I'm not the "newest" one to the group! My DH and I are former Marines - what is/was your service?!

She should be fine then. DS turned 5 in November & I have just now put him in 6/7 tops & 5 pants. He is also on the upper range for his age....was born that way.
