December 30 2014 - Wonder from Miami

Posts have been removed from a number of Cruise Meets threads including this one.

Please review the Cruise Meet Policy regarding Cruise Meet and Fish Extender programs. - http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=3353477

Links to Cruise Meet discussion/Fish Extenders other than those on the DIS may not be posted or offered by any other means (PM, email, "search" directions).

Cruise Meet threads are doing just fine still managing meet and FE discussions right here on the DIS as they have since FE began (also here on the DIS).

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin with child ages for age appropriate gift giving. Other information you would like to share such as names, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

Enjoy!

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

I guess everyone really gave up on this thread which is sad...

We were on the Wonder for the 2013-2014 New Year's cruise and decided we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate the end of this year and the beginning of 2015. My 16yo daughter always makes great friends in Vibe; I am curious to know if anyone else on board this cruise was on it last year.

It was a little easier for us to go last year since the Wonder sailed from Galveston, an easy drive from Austin. But the only port of call was Cozumel (2 sea days were relaxing, though) so we are looking forward to Castaway Cay, Nassau, and Key West.

We were not on last year but I agree it is a great way to end the year. I really need it after the year I have had.

I will have two kids in the Vibe l. My son is 17 nd my dd is 14. First year for her. We have not been on the Wonder but have been on all the other ships. They think they will miss the Fantasy Vibe I hope not and can make friends to hang out with.

Ok, hi..

My family is taking our first Disney Cruise (we did a cruise last year on a different line). I am finding out so many things about how different Disney is and all of the extra added things they offer. In addition to that, I am just now learning about these Fish Extender thingies and think this would be a really cool fun activity for my kids to participate with! I hope it's not too late to get in on it.

Cabin # 8502
11 year old girl
12 year old boy

Any tips and ideas for a last minute Fish Extender creation and gifts would be great!

How can I see who else has signed up to play along? :)

Thanks,
Steph

I'm afraid it might be too late for the fish extender but you never know if someone comes back to the thread to say. Everyone has moved else where it seems sorry. Maybe you will luck out and someone will read your post that is in charge for this cruise.

Disney is a great cruise line this will be our 9th one. We started when the kids were 4 and 7 on the Magic. They loved it and still do. The Wonder is the same ship only has different names for the restaurants. The Magic also has been in dry dock and add things the Wonder does not have now.

You will have a great time. Where are you from?

So does that mean no one is participating with fish extenders? Or it's just too late for my kids to get their names on the list?

The people who set it up have left the thread. I am not allowed to tell you where or I would get points here.

I was hoping some would at least come back and check up on here but no one has I'm sorry I'm disappointed too since I have always had a dis meet to go to.

So I would say you are too late to get on the list.

Hmm.. I wish I could send a message to the person that started this thread, but being new the forum won't allow me to send a private message. Have you tried contacting them? Would you mind sending them a message on behalf of me since I can't do it myself? Just to bring their attention back here...

If I remember correctly the person organizing the FE had a cut off date of 11/30. I don't know if the person who is organizing the FE and the other social media group is the same person who started the thread here. However, I will let that group know that folks here would like some updates.

The fish extender list was closed November 30. The list was divided into three separate groups because there were so many participants.

I decided not to do the organized fish extender. Been there done that twice. Too much running around the ship.

There are several people in my group who are new to Disney so I decided to just use our fish extender between our two cabins. My sister and I are bringing little gifts to put in the FE. If I were you, I would just do little gifts for my own kids. Sneak them into your FE and let the kids "discover" them. :)
